I played Altered Beast on Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis and got the 3 orbs to transform into the Werewolf, Weredragon, Werebear, Weretiger, and the Golden Werewolf and I defeated Neff who kidnapped Athena the daughter of Zeus and she’s a Goddess and able to rescue her from Neff and returned her to her father and won 🥇 the game and amazing times I have with my free time and my life.👍

I never understood this game, I remember playing it at my mates house back in the day and thought it was boring, even more boring looking now, so many good games going around at that time just never got into Altered Beast.
Hahaha. I remember seeing this displayed on the screens at Dixons when the Mega-Drive was first released and people were WOWING over it. It's actually a pretty crap game, lol and as i remember - the collision detention was awful. It's a massive understatement to say that The Mega-Drive got a whole lot better, thankfully ;-p
For every game I wanted I had to do some work. And I was pretty disappointed with the game lenght for what it did cost back then :D several days of mowing lawns, cleaning cars, doing home errands, getting better grades at school and what not and then... this :D One Sonic game would entertain you for hours while this could be literally done in less than 15 minutes. The lesson learned from this game to chose the next one more carefully and not only rely on the outside cover... which was back then pretty much all you were presented with. No demo, no RUclips videos or whatever. Just the neutral front cover and maybe 2 screenshots in the back.
i forgot this game has worse digitized voices than most other games in which i dislike the digitized voices. i think it's the part i dislike most with sega consoles.
