As a resident from Europe, I find this absolutely shocking. Here in Switzerland, we earn more, we pay far less rent although it's still expensive and we have no student debt to pay back. I am often struggling with my career, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to have no choice but to continue, because you have to pay back so much debt. Without the comfort of knowing I could always change careers and become a teacher, lawyer, engineer, pianist or whatever the hell I want, I would probably slide into a breakdown very soon...
This entire process of becoming full pledge pathologist takes so much years,,, how old are u maam, married, kids? How u manage ur personal life n profession life? M married have kids, at 37 years IMG dreaming to become pathologist at usa
I have a question plz Basing on what i know.. Pathology residency years are just 4 years.... Is 5 year which is the fellow year considered an obligatory year? Thanks in advance

Thanks for this video. I really like your transparency about money and salaries, a topic for reasons I don't understand, most people avoid discussing.
Glad it was helpful!

Not obligatory, but it is trending that way.
How much do attendings make?
Academic attendings makes much less than private pathologists. It's still a huge range starting around $160-$260
So 1 LPA ?
So expensive!
Haha, the costs makes my bank account sad, but great for my mental health
