Awesome video. You have explained your fellowship experience so well. ❤️ This July, I’ll start a Surg Path fellowship, and then I’ll do a GI Path fellowship, both at MSKCC. I heard It is an extremely busy program. I hope I’ll do well. 🙂
Thanks for the great video about residency and fellowships! Not sure if this is worth a future topic or too niche a topic but do you know about developments in digital pathology? With Stanford being such a large program, is it ever brought up? I know there are hurdles in it, unlike radiology, but I think covid has pushed into the spotlight in recent years.
Do u sign out GI only or general as well during ur fellowship? I ve been looking at MSK/BST cases only for almost 6 months now and feels like I'm forgetting how to report all the other systems, n cyto too:(((
I always love your videos. Very detailed and Informative. I wanna become a pathologist aswell.
❤ You got this!🥳
Thank you for the love! You can do it!
great video. I'm studying for the MD licensure exam, and if I pass, I wanna train in pathology. looking to your videos for inspiration

Stanford for surgical pathology is digital. The attendings can signout and do frozens digital, another reason I wanted to stay on as faculty!
Do you think a DO pathologist would have any trouble landing a cytogenetics/molecular genetics fellowship?
You do not need a md/PhD to do CP. As long as you show interest and participate in researchin residency.

I only signout liver and GI with the attendings. I do few rotations on Hotseat where I do quick prelims on general surgpath.
