  • #floetrol #bloomtechnique #sheleeart
Hi all! Finally had a chance to play with a recipe using American Floetrol to create SheleeArt style blooms. I concentrated heavily on showing the blowing by mouth technique. Once you have that sorted out, then practice with the tilting. Apologies for the little bit of glare in a couple of spots. The American Floetrol recipe worked really well, especially when using a mini-hair dryer--I could tell the difference between the two at first, but by the time I had completed both blooms they were virtually identical. The Australian version does seem to lace up a bit more (along with celling up), while the American version is pure cells. It's really all about the practice with the puffing and tilting! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video! TA-DA!!!

I love watching the blooms that you create! A coupke questions....What are you mixing your paint with (ratio and product) and your cell activator is mixed with white? And what is your ratio for house paint/GAC?

Than you for sharing with us. You do such beautiful work! I really appreciate your experimenting for American Floetrol, and sharing so generously. Even writing it down for a screen shot! You have always been generous, I think you must have a beautiful soul. I watch a lot of pouring channels in bed at night. And don’t want to wake my husband. Since I don’t want to use ear buds, I will watch them without sound. But I can’t do that with your channel, because I enjoy your personality so much! Thanks for showing the U.S. Floretral. ( l’m sure it’s probably the same as Canada) where l live. I heard the Aussie Floretral makes more cells. Yep the Aussie does produce more cells & lacing. I heard it was expensive to order it from Australia. Too bad they couldn’t make the same in Canada/ U.S. Thank You for showing the difference. I watch Gilly Kube in Queensland and she has so many cell’s & beautiful lacing. Thanks again Karen for your trial. ♥️💕

I'm happy you did this. There are so many people out there that truly believe that the type of floeteol their using is the reason why the bloom isn't working for them but I use nothing except American Floetrol and now you just also proved that its more about the consistency and the manipulation of the paints then anything. Great video Great art💗

Karen (the good kind) I used your formula and it worked great! I was just using amster white and water, which worked well, but the addition of the glue in your formula added so much more structure to the cell lacing...I did three just to see if it came out the same ...it did and i love it!
