    What's interesting to me is that this technique is actually pretty easy to achieve without using all these more expensive ingredients... it really just takes experimenting and patience, learning about paint transparencies, what floetrol is capable of, which white paints work for what you are trying to accomplish, etc. I have accomplished these same "cells', so to speak, with several other techniques and the same paint mixtures I use for a simple dirty pour... I think it's crazy that this has upset so many people! The painting is beautiful. I hope the insanity ends soon....

      @@shelleymcpeake7400 Honestly when I first took it there was a lot of experimenting with different ingredients to get the look, but now there are so many videos out here that I wouldn’t take it. You can just look up the bloom technique and gather some ingredients (because they’re all different) and just play around. I will say the Facebook group was very helpful but it something that you really have to play with to get. Hope that helps

      @@Love2artncraft thanks. Probably cos I'm very new to painting that I thought if I took the course, it would give me the basics to start from. I watch loads of videos and its confusing what one is the best, already wasted loads of money. 😒 you don't get into the group until you've taken the course?? I'm from the UK so a bit wary that the course would be all products based from Australia x

    • @Love2artncraft
      @Love2artncraft 3 года назад +1

      @@shelleymcpeake7400 right, you don’t get into the group until you take the course. I got frustrated and just stopped trying because the best results were coming from the Aussie floetrol and I wasn’t paying for that. I will say that if you take the course the FB group is very helpful but it will definitely be overwhelming. It’s really about the consistencies of the paints and how you blow. Good luck!

    As is usual, I love your art. I have been using Primary Elements going on 4 years now. I have a hint for you. You’re using much, much more pigment than you need. The pigments is so intense you won’t need as much as you would for Pearl Ex and the other brands with mica we all got used to. You only need about ⅛ teaspoon per ounce of your medium. They usually send along little spoons with your order and they are ⅛ teaspoon.
    So happy you, like Tammy, are giving and encouraging people to take the e course. That and the Face Book group are invaluable worldwide. Keep up the beautiful work. 🧚🏼‍♀️💕

    Thank you for this tutorial, always appreciate tutorials to compare, your time is appreciated. The science behind this type of pouring ( multiple products in pillow pour particularly) is becoming a nightmare. Financially it’s impossible for many of us to buy them all, secondly they aren’t the same from country to country. The bloom technique is one of the most simplistic of pours that has now been turned into a monolithic science experiment which has in my opinion taken all the fun out of it.

    Erica, I’m so glad I watched this video! You are a master of this technique as far as I’m concerned. And you have simplified the technique immensely! Our Facebook is wonderful, but there are new products every day and the process becomes more and more complex and terrifying. I’ll remember that the method is forgiving and remember to breathe before I breathe!! I have so much trouble with consistency in my other pours, that I have made this technique a real challenge before I ever started. Any hints for stretching? That has been my main problem. Thanks again! Oh, I love the cells with the “nucleus” in them!

    Erica , your painting is absolutely beautiful and thank you for sharing all of your info about the process. I also am glad that you gave Shelee the acknowledgement that she deserves. Such a gorgeous technique. Well done. I have also watched Tammy and a few others before you girls decided to give it a go considering all the whoopla thats been going on about sharing this with YT. We are very appreciative for what you guys do and for all the tips that you give us along your art journey. Thank you again. Many Hugs from TN. P.S. Love seeing your face which was a nice surprise :)
