Substrates are wooden box purses that you can find at Michaels (in-store only). Next video will concentrate on using this unique pouring medium in other techniques. In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for the love and support!!!

thank God I found you . You are the only one I found that shows the cans , and explains the materials needed ....everyone else just rambles and talks and blabs without showing the things actually needed for the blooms .
Agreed!

Glad you are out of the hospital and that they caught it. Pneumonia can be deadly as I’m sure you know and is often not caught in time

I LOVE those!! The colors are gorgeous together! I bet you hear this all the time but, you remind me of the beautiful Anne Hathaway! Thank you so much for this informative & beautiful video!!
wow i’ve watched a lot of videos on blooms and you have the explanation on how to mix the paint can’t wait to try thank you 💕💕
Once again deep thanks for your generous sharing and playful enthusiasm towards this art form. You are sooooooo appreciated!
Thanks for sharing all that:) Blooms aren't my bag either, but I do enjoy learning about the different processes. Maybe I will try for a gift with the salt box!!
I bought one!! It’s really nice and I’m thinking a summer bloom would look nice on it!!
Beautiful, like wild water Love it
Much appreciated.
Love your work.
Thank you for your recipe and the products that you use. There are so many recipes on line it was helpful to see I can buy a can of white house/interior paint and get the same results. I haven't worked on any acrylic pours for about a year. I switched to alcohol pours on paper since I also like to use them in card making. After watching you do your pours on your granite... I've decide to use my kitchen counter and pour again. Thank you for the inspiration! BTW the first canvas that your husband likes remind me of an agates and I thought they were beautiful. I've made jewelry for years so I appreciate what mother nature creates.
You're killing it today!! 😂 you said y you were going to try this PM for other techniques. It looks a bit more labor intensive, I'll be interested to see if you stay with it or go back.
I really like these, simple seems to be the best. Beautiful
On my lands are these cute!!! I love them! You are so talented!💟
I love it! Beautiful art as always :). Gotta try a bloom. They are so pretty.
Looking at the magnificent paintings you create is a sheer joy. Would love to know your recipes and techniques. The lacing is beautiful. I must look for your art on the market.
Recipe/colors are always listed in the first 5-7 minutes of the video.
Thank you. Had the volume down...husband was asleep. I will check it out again tomorrow.
So pretty Karen! That will be a beautiful purse!
Thank you for the tutorial! You do beautiful work!! I love watching your videos and have been wanting to try the bloom technique, so thank you for a simple explanation and recipe! Much appreciated!💗
very nice! I am a fan of your work :) thank you for the simple help with the pm's. :)
Wow Karen they are amazing, I have tried Shelee's course, I have had some success, being in Australia I have access to all her products I just need to practice more. I have always had issues with creating cells no mater what pouring medium I use so I am looking forward to seeing how the pouring medium behaves when used in different techniques. Once again a great video, I will try to hang out with you during your auction, unfortunately it will be Monday morning here and I will be on my way to work😭 but I will drop into say Hi.
Stunning. Love the colours :)
Beautiful Karen!
Beautiful art and love your glasses ❤️
Hi Karen! I saw a peice you did recently using what you've been learning with the shelee art but executed like a more traditional pour on Instagram and its stunningand the possibilities are exciting! Your one of the 1st I've seen that has incorporated the bloom teqcniqe and its properties while still moving forward with acrylic pouring as a whole. I've done my own experimenting but my point was that it's encouraging to see an artist I respect, with a larger platform bringing in relevant content & fresh ideas.
I guess I could have articulated all that with a "great work " but I was recently reminded of how much value there is in feedback. Most especially for working artists.
So I thought I'd say that. Beautiful work as always but also thanks for diversifying and inspiring. Mahalo 🤙
Thanks very much Chris! I’m about to do a big pour on a 20” using the untinted paint as the pouring medium. Gulp! 🤞🤞
@@WaterfallAcrylics wow! That sounds a little intimidating but also exciting! Will you post that or maybe the results on Instagram? In any event i bet it will be a lot fun once you you begin.
Excellent, just what I was looking for in terms of doing more than one bloom in the middle.
OMG! These are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I've made my shopping list and can't wait to give it a go
U are great thanks for sharing ❤️
Simply beautiful!!!
I love your Videos and how you explain. 🥰 sending hugs from Germany
Bless you Karen ! ❤️you have saved me money and grief with this video ! I'm your new subscriber and newbie also . If my pours come out half as good as yours I'll be a very content woman . Michelle New Smyrna beach Fl 🌞
Thank you so much Karen, great tutorial, im pretty far from using this method, still learning my basics but appreciate your tutorials, just stunning!! take care, xxx
Karen, your recipes work! I did my third Shelee style pour and it worked this time! Thanks so much.
Taa daa Blooming gorgeous.
Great work my beautiful friend... this video is long overdue and finally in the bag lol.💙💚💙💚😉
Cookie cutter stuck to the bottom, Ha ha ha! You crack me up, girl! Always love your humor!
Absolutely gorgeous ❤️
Super cool! Love watching the new process, will add that to my (long) list of things to try. I can imagine that purse, when done, attracting a lot of attention wherever people see it - gorgeous and unique!
Beautiful colors!
I want to know how you can paint without getting it on your clothes and everything else?! I need to master your "confined mess" technique.😜 I love your videos and your skill sharing. Keep it up, you're amazing!
me too
Perfect instructions! Thank You ❤️
I love love love it!
I loved your tutorial 💕 you’re great to listen to and very funny. I’m definitely subscribing for both the painting and comedy. Thank you 🙏🏼
Hiya Karen! I’m a total beginner but watching you somehow gives me confidence to keep at it. All your creations are just mesmerising and magical. Your personality somehow reflects into your works I think. They’re just so happy! Like I said ... magical, truly. By the way, have you had your hair cut? It looks lovely whether or not. I shall continue to watch your videos and be further encouraged and inspired . Thank you so very very much!! Take care and God Bless. 🇬🇧😊🙏🤗
No hair cut-this video is a year old. My hair grows like a weed!
@@WaterfallAcrylics Haha! Well, it looked very nice anyway. 🥴☺️
Stunning!
So gorgeous 💙💙💚
So beautiful 😍 you are good!
Beautiful!!
Beautiful thanks for sharing!
Thanks k, very informative.
Thank you so much for sharing. I try the Bloom and have bought so many products trying to get same results as Australian products on a class. Trying a different recipe, and will try yours. All in all, I do not think the Bloom is one of my favorites.
Love it.
Thank you so much appreciate it.
Great job!
Beautiful
I think your boxes are great what a pretty gift a gift to somebody never seen that before I would love to give one to my girlfriend now my Sunday is tomorrow is that your Sunday?
Yes today is Saturday. Boxes are available on my website. Link is in the description section.
idea...
You, Jodi, & Fiona should create a how to book, with out-takes
Karen, I know how you felt and feel about George . My daughter lives there. She had to come back with her 3 year old and stay in Iowa, till the scum buckets left the city. They were bussed in to cause havoc. Her little grocery store & pub were up in flames. Her mountain bike was stolen. And she found out it was white boys from Wisconsin. She has had severe PTSD ever since. So yes I feel your hurt. God love you and yours. Kindly, Holyn
Nice.
Very pretty!
Hi Miss Karen! So I'm experimenting with blooms and swipes using close to this original recipe. But I think your later video was CA using some glue all. And maybe I used another artists recipe with a little alcohol ink. What do you think? Are you still using the squirt of glue all? Does it hold the cells better? My experiments are really ranging. From excellent to wth happened?? Really loving swiping more than spinning to you know...show them who's boss! Got that from you!
Thank you. I will try your way. Took the class and have tried a lot With no sucess. Hope this works for me.
I am interested in giving this a try .Your videos are gorgeous and informative . At the end you mentioned sanding so there is more to the finished product . Do you have a video on the finishing process . Thank you so very much
Do you mean how how to sand? No sorry.
Hi Karen, thank you for sharing your talents and experiments. I have a question regarding your use of a couple of drops of minwax oil base stain conditioner. Why not just use silicone? I took Shelee’s course and am not on Facebook to talk with the 2000+ artists conversing about the various products in the USA to use. Thank you so very much.🌸
It’s spreads and makes a giant messs. Doesn’t work with the base paint
Karen, love your videos ! Just a little unsure of the house paints. So the base 1, white is used to coat the canvas. The base3 untinted is used for the Pillow? But I think you used the same white paint for the pillow under your puddles. I don’t think I’m right. Help! 🥰😇
It’s this: White house paint to coat canvas; the UNTINTED house paint is mixed with varnish-that’s your pouring medium to mix the colors with. The Amsterdam titanium white is mixed with the Floetrol to make the cell activator-the last color on top of the all the other puddles of colors.
