RUclips needs a "LOVE" (not just a "Like") button! I've said this before, but I'll say it again: This made me homesick for all of Wisconsin...the food, the culture, even the weather! The precious time you spent with your daughter also conjured up memories and emotions that I wasn't expecting....it was so beautiful to see you interacting so lovingly and protectively towards her. Every little girl needs and deserves that. What I wasn't expecting was my own memories of my Dad when I was about her age. He was a long-haul truckdriver so he was only home on the weekends, and he was never very affectionate (although I knew he loved me). Being the youngest of seven, I was usually lost in the shuffle...but being able to spend time with him one on one when I was old enough to go with him on one of his trips, I felt like the most important little girl in the world. I also remember the day of my 1st Communion, he surprised me by placing his hand over mine when we were standing in the pew at church. An extremely rare gesture. The casting of your hand intertwined with your daughter's conjured up that memory for me. If I can have that lone memory of my Dad's hand over mine almost 50 years ago, just think of the abundance of beautiful memories you are building for your daughter! She is so blessed to have you! So thank you....I'm sorry this comment was so long....I have to go now....I have something in my eye....and I think I better call my Dad. ❤❤❤
