- It was back in 1956 that Dr. R.O. Ebert started the horse-drawn wagon tours through Lost Canyon, the longest and deepest land canyon in Wisconsin. In 1967, the Kissack families took over the business and still operate it today, doing their part to maintain this natural treasure.

I'm from Wisconsin and have been going to the Dells since i was a little girl and we always stayed in Lake Delton... I never knew about this place. Looked like everyone had a good time and supporting small local businesses is awesome!

I love the whole Dells area (including Baraboo)...such a beautiful place! Thanks for this video tour! (Made me homesick again...jealous of the weather, too LOL we get dumped with snow in CO this time of year) It sure got tight in some places and I worried about your guide bumping his head! He probably knows that canyon like the back of his hand but wow, it sure looked close a few times! Maybe the girls would like the Cave of the Mounds just west of Madison?

On 1 more note, like a block or 2 down the road from lost canyon is a place we always stay called Bakers Sunset Bay. Kids would love it! Private beach, free kayaks, row boats and also 2 pools and an arcade, no slots, lol. Just an fyi

My parents moved Wisconsin dells when I was 6 months old, they owned the sandman inn, which is no longer there but it was right next to kaelor's over the road bridge. And they also own cottages right on the shore of lake delton. We were near where mystery spot used to be which was a place you were kind of leaning to the side. In Lost canyon was one of our favorite places to go. I'm not sure if people remember the name of my dad he was the head of the chamber of commerce deck then and the owner of sandman inn and briarwood cottages right on the river. But he also promoted the Lost canyon
