I just did this on a green one with all GPM green aluminum parts. Then I bought another Promoto because they dont drive nearly as nice with all the extra weight but they look fantastic. Green one is now shelf queen and blue one (stock) is my new driver.

I plan on building a stock promoto over the winter so I have a stock and full modified bikes to run next season. I'll probably run the full mod bike and let my daughter or father use the stock bike. Lol.

@@screamingdemonscrew Since the Supermoto wheel/tires ripped my chain guard off and broke the swingarm mount I decided to order Vitavon swing arm, chain guard, brake caliper and front for axle mounts in all gold to match the front shocks. Green and gold should look neat together. The green bike is a LOT of fun and super stable at speed VS stock but the stock one I can hold a wheelie for over 300' and onto the dirt and it stops better. Its also shown me how loud the gyro got in the green one after several accidents. Guess next mod will be the green GPM or the Vitavon gyro case to shut it up. LOL Your bikes coming along great and now I am rethinking ordering the carbon side plates.

@Bananahobbyhater ya, I ripped the chain guard and swingarm mount apart on the first few Batts. Lol. The Vitavon parts are so much better.. ya the gold will look great. I'm getting a set of Gold Vitavon wheels eventually... not sure if the aluminum gyro case will quite down the gyro, but it will definitely dissipate the heat well.. my bikes gyro doesn't get as warm now I have the all the aluminum components to work as a heatsink. lol. I don't have the aluminum gyro case yet either.. might be a part I look into and do a video on.

If the idea of the damper fluid is to keep the steering calmed down then more fluid would be better. I would hold off putting the upper bearing in untill you fill the fluid up with the steering stem in place. Just don'e fill it so high as to create pressure making it hard to install the upper bearing.

I will add the 500k. Soon, the top Bearing was a bit tight to get out so I left it in,didn'twant to damage it. But I'll definitely be changing the fluid and removing the bearing to do so. Thanks for the tip. I have driven the promoto since the build and the steering head shake isn't bad.

Hi there as I’m totally new to this rc bike
Can u please explain how that damper fluid does not seep or even just leak out
I’m cool on rc cars and trucks and diffs too
Yet I can not get my head around how this works
Plus my bike came with a lot of oil around the middle of that triple clamp system
Am I correct in thinking that the whole neck should be filled with fluid 500k
So how do it not leak out with no Gasket is my boggle 🥸
      Thanks for sharing

Associated makes 1 million wt diff fluid. That works better then stock but best to install a new better servo for fluid that thick.
