Just to be clear ... Exynos at the same price of the Qualcomm...(that even if exynos it's great ,it's an inferior chipset) I don't now if it's so great or correct from Samsung to do this...
@nokx78. We can't get the Snapdragon over in Europe. Unfortunately, we're stuck with the exynos. Tbh I've seen other reviews and it's holding up better than last years snapdragon gen 2.
@@Mostviralvidoes yes I know, that's why I say that I will try to get an SG3 version of these S+ from someone coming from America.. Maybe because seems a beautiful device
I really like Samsung's camera color science too. They look ready to me - in other brands, I realize that I will tweak them to look basically like Samsung photos before posting or keeping it.
Loving my Exynos 2400 S24 here in the UK 😊 The Amber yellow colour I went for. I hope people don't succumb to the mass hysteria regarding Exynos. Everything works perfectly to perfection 😊 I tested & thrown everything on it - sustainability, stability, raw performance, general performance, games, media production apps etc. Yes it does get warm with longer playing sessions just like any other phone but that's nothing different to any other current chip/phone. All good, everything checks out, top level, Top Tier SOC & it will only get better with optimisation/updates 😊 I also have the 24 Ultra (Snapdragon Gen3) but it will be the secondary phone kept at home mainly for media. I could have bought any phone available with any SOC I wanted etc. yet I purposely picked the standard S24 as my main phone 😊 Compact yet powerful enough for everyday use. Good camera (especially with the Expert Raw app that's available only on the newer Galaxy's) Good level screen, decent battery life, future proof & more. I uploaded a screen recording of me playing a only few months old Switch game (using a Bluetooth controller) at full speed 😊
Just bought the S24 coming from the S22’ . I'm a light user and always charge it at night, so I never had a problem for the battery ( charging to 85%) . My S22 has trouble with connectivity but that is not from the chip but from my current network provider I'm sure cause with my other provider I had no problem. I switched for the 7 years updates 😊
I have to say as your neighbour, Holland 🤩, I have to complement you on your English. Second, I am really struggling (like a lot of people I’m guessing) that I want to get a new phone. I’m using a IPhone 13 but I’m seriously thinking about Samsung S24(+) or the Pixel 8 Pro. And like always I get dazed because of all the info out there. I hope you if any readers of this commend, could help me out here. I’m not looking to buy the Ultra, I think it’s too expensive. Oder vielleicht gibt’s noch einen anderen Phone welche richtig gut ist. Danke und schönen Gruß aus Holland 👍🏻
The 7 year update stuff may seem abit useless but for me it's great I've keep an iPhone 11 for about 5 years now in the draw. Great for going on holiday and not needing to bring my expensive phone out with me and the baby can smash it about with no consequence!!
not only heat is problem with Exynos ,they don't seem to last ,after about a year phone restarting and screen not come on. many s22 kept in case already bad and new battery won't fix
Great review! Would you say it's worth to buy the smaller s24 over the s23 in terms of battery life and overall daily usage performance? Im struggling between the 2 at a very similar price but other sources claim the gen 2 is 20-30% more battery life, and smoother too.
Power efficiency of Exynos 2400's CPU and GPU are good with especially high efficiency in video playback. But Exynos S24's call time dropped 20% from S23 meaning Samsung's own modem/network connectivity chip has inferior efficiency to Qualcomm's. So propably also standby endurance is mediocre. GSMArena's review is under work and battery tests are done. Though they don't have results for Snapdragon/US version.
Pixel 8 pro may be having better camera than s24 plus but stating that 8pro has better software than s24+ is subjective, many people don't like the obtrusive + flat icon + rounded padded solid icon covers + sometimes buggy software + oh gosh! Non-changeable homescreen layout.
*Don't fall for it.* Exynos has a history of poor modem/reception quality, worse battery life, high temperatures, micro-stutter when scrolling, and occasionally slower app performance due to many apps being optimized for Snapdragon. The benchmarks show good graphics numbers etc, but don't forget about the other problems. Try to find honest comparisons before buying.
I saw it somewhere for sustainability testing, exynos 2400 showed stable result albeit the overall performance is slightly below sd 8 gen 3. But it's pretty stable compared to dimensity 9000, and A17. All i can say is, we just need to wait until more testimonies from average users.
@enesjei been using the S24, and so far, as compared to my previous Galaxy phones with exynos chipset. I can safely say and surprise that this time, they nailed it. No heating issue and battery are excellent. Performance is superb.
I heard you that the s24 battery life is about 4 to 5 hours. For me that not a good battery consumption at all. You may need the power adapter or power bank to charge the phone in the mid of day time/ working hours.
He did say that he was using mobile data. That saps all phones battery faster. I have the S24, and on wi-fi I can easily get 6-7 hours SOT with normal use. Normal use being not too much gaming.
Except the Exynos chip burns through more battery when mobile data is enabled compared to Snapdragon phones. And in my experience, the signal reception is poor.
I love the one ui and even ios but Google version of android is so boring and less stable plus doesn’t have so many features, can’t believe google phones even has less features than iPhone.
Rather get Oneplus 12 or Pixel. Exynos chip isnt even used in South Korea. Samsung has become so scam. How can they think that their mobiles will sell in Europe with that crappy chip.
Who all actually need AI... per me unnecessary feature, rather than samsung shd, have deleted this and which in return give more ram and buttery smooth exp...
Don't want to believe but, can't rule this out as a possibility as well. Also heard that the battery drain issues have started on S23 for some users post the recent update. Wonder if this is due to the S24 launch. Really confused at this time.
😂. Só what ? You think people will buy Xiaomi, Pixel or iPhone ? Galaxy will have good sales like last year. Difference between Snapdragon and Exynos has decreased. Average user will buy it and use it with no issues at all
It's true, they're all gushing about AI and other BS topics that Samsung wants them to insert in their review (and of course, they have purchase links in the description), but these reviews won't compare Exynos to Snapdragon.
Love that this is a European specific review with the Exynos chip 👍🏻

GrandmasterTigerfist they use exynos in south korea for the s24 and s24 plus
AI stuff is free until 2025, then it's a subscription model, just so you guys are aware.
🤔 In that case I think I'm gonna hold on to my S22 for another year or 2
They can’t if apple brings this year and kept it free also the things which happening on phone will stay free
Nobody knows the whole thing yet. It's not something i won't buy a Galaxy.
Bruh your on android modded AI apps 😂 no need to get the new phone for Galaxy ai.... No subscription needed 😅
I got s24+ here in EU. For me, size and weight actually did matter compared s24 Ultra and Pixel 8 pro.

The S24 could still get a bunch of system software Updates that could make it way better.
been burned by Exynos before [figuratively and literally] so not impressed with this....
Good video mate
How about pwm, its pwm rate is very low so it affects our eye right
AI = we have been really phoning it in the past 4 years and got to make it seem like we are still innovating
The only problem with AI phone is that it's just Google Assistant 2.0 and not Jarvis.
Damm could I change it to "Okay Jarvis" ??that would be sick!!
Exynos network reception is poor. Zero connectivity where I used my iPhone with same mobile network.
How about the wifi with low conectivity ?
AI is just a gimmick for 2024.
I wish these reviewers would focus on the basic stuff like battery life, call quality, robustness, quality.
I wanted the grey but samsung delivered black 😢.,
