Circle to search isn't just for sesrching. If you're a webnovel/manhwa addict like me, if there's text in the background or other texts that wasn't translated that I want to translate, I would just hold the homebar and press translate and it'll translate for me
Reading manga/art that I come across on twitter that isn't translated also comes in clutch
it's SUPER useful for people like me lol

idk what's so special about circle to search (since it's one of their main selling point), cus literally any android phone can do that. my xiaomi 14 pro also can do that. i only need to slide from the bottom corner and i can choose translate or search. basically every function that circle to search can do, my phone can do as well.

9:28 keep in mind that the pro video and photo mode change the look of your videos and photos because it removes a lot of the post processing. the regular video and photo mode is unusable for me, it looks absolutely horrible. UHD 30 fps on pro video and 12 MP (not 50) on pro photo looks the best. and dont forget to set your videos to HEVC and turn on high bitrate. and with "camera assistant" from the galaxy app store set the smoothness to High. Your shots will have more of that DSLR look with those setting.
Just as a tip for anyone who has a samsung phone.

Thanks, I'm figuring out my options coming from a Pixel 5, and it seems like S24 = best all around phone, while the Pixel 8 = best camera, not a great phone due to the modem/battery etc.
Is there any downsides to the pro mode? And do you think with tweaking/photography knowledge (perhaps I'll edit the raws) is it possible to bridge the gap between the S24 and Pixel 8?
I assume the blurry photos people talk about is that the auto mode is using too slow of a shutter speed too?

    • @3runex
      @3runex 17 дней назад +1

@@Matt-fo4gg I can't compare the S24 to the Pixel 8 cause I've never used it, and the comparison videos on youtube don't show any pro modes.
But there are no downsides to the pro modes, your shots will look better and more natural. You can set your shutter speed and iso to auto, so it's almost like using the regular camera mode. I've never heard about blurry photos but it can't be the camera mode, my photos and videos are always sharp. If anything I would like them to be less sharp so I don't get that overshapened smartphone look.

I have a question. Why does nobody understand that 7 years of Software updates doesn't sound so good. Samsung keeps sending the update notification on my S20 & I can't get rid of it. We have seen on iphones that newer software starts to make the phone run sluggish. I really don't think a galaxy S24 running on the latest version of Android 7 years later is a good idea.
Some feature are bound to be slow by then & that's planned obsolescence. Can
somebody please explain this topic of phone OS updates?

So TechTalkTV replied to my same comment, he wrote:
"While it's true that newer software can sometimes strain older hardware, manufacturers Iike Samsung do optimize updates for older devices. This means that performance issues are often addressed to ensure that the phone remains as responsive as possible.
      Plus, updates do introduce new
      features and enhancements that
improve the functionality of the older device. This means that even older phones can benefit from the latest innovations and improvements,
      enhancing the overall user
experience. So I don't see updates as a bad thing even for older phones"
He's basically asking us to trust Samsung, about them optimizing the OS on updates over 7 years. How are we supposed to trust a company that makes decisions such as removing their own beloved msging app (replacing with google messages which is buggy on my S10e/doesn't have pure/OLED black background like Samsung Messages), removed: 3.5mm jack early/at all & micro sd card slot, & is making their new One UI icons such as the gallery app look not as good.
I support my other comment that phone manufactures should simply make it easy to not update the OS if we don't want to, by now.

Hi whats the meaning of this? Did my battery health just went down?
The typical capacity has been tested under third-party laboratory conditions. The typical capacity is the estimated average capacity considering the deviation in battery capacity among the battery samples tested under the IEC 61960 standard. The rated capacity is 3880 mAh. Actual battery life may vary depending on network environment, usage patterns, and other factors.
