    Hey nice smoker ive been enjoying the videos you have up here. I'm curious after your time around different smokers is thr one you prefer over another, I have two old propane tanks now and all my 1/4 inch steel and wheels to start my own build and have decided on a reverse flow but noticed allot of the videos you post up and franklins are mostly normal offset smokers and not reverse off set, is thr a reason for that and if so I would really enjoy hearing your opinion/perspectives. Thankyou!

    One of my major peeves when shopping is to find a Website that won’t list prices on products, & wants you to send in your information for “custom build price”.
    There should be a basic price for your smokers available to see......😐. There are plenty of other smoker builders that offer upfront t pricing with additional add-on options & fees. I think you should consider that on your webpage.
    The smokers do look awesome!!

    Have you thought of counter balancing for your doors? It appears that they are pretty heavy and can only stay open when you take them all the way open

    I want to know why the smoke stack was welded the way it was... I seen it was through the top of cooking chamber, down to the bottom grate.

    Some good ideas but it is a 500gal propane tank on a boat trailer; not original, but custom name plate for temp gauges are great.

    Just received my newly built smoker from friend. Std 30" dia.x 40" long with 30"x30" fire box...I had 30Wwx30x36H vertical smoke box. Will I struggle to control temp on Vert Box?

    Those Fatstack Smokers are pretty awesome. Great work!. I hope they move to AZ or TX out of the anti business Cali climate tho. I hear it always pays off to most business after they reach a certain size. Love the look of their smokers! They build them like I would. I just built a 36" x 18" x 1/8" baffle plate for my little backyard, heavy duty offset, and it really leveled my temps according to the 6 probes I ran on my last smoke. I am doing Alabama white sauce bbq chickens tonite on it.Woo Hoo!

    The ribs looked fantastic the big thick cut of meat you were slicing, looked dry. What cur was it?

    Oh God smokers built in California, LA of all places would mean the price would have to quad triple. I'd hate to see how much you pay in rent for that fab shop.

      You know it. My Pit builders are in Louisiana & Houston. I can't even imagine doing business with California. The upfront cost and top it off with shipping from hell.

    just a heads up from another cnc operator (i run plasma not laser. but the set up is the same). when you cut out letters make sure to keep the center of the round letters attached with small points. it will make those signs look so much better.

    Great video, that is one amazing smoker. If I wasn’t on the east coast I would be all about getting myself a fatstack pit. Although I do like the distressed look of your 500 gallon pit better than the standard all black. Have a good one

      yes actually. There is a chicken flipper on this rig already but we have been toying with where to put a griddle.

    WOW, so well thought out in design , and neat customization available. FATSTACK SMOKERS rock. Also The BarbacoaBoys BBQ have a great idea in bringing together cooking styles and recipes. Jeremy, you are hanging with some interesting and cool BBQ guys. Enjoyed the video.

      Kauthor1 our firebox is the same as the one on Jeremy’s, I believe it’s half of a 250 gallon tank.

      Mad Scientist BBQ , if you think this smoker is great - you should send email address, so I can send pics of mine I built 5 years ago,
      750 gal, with Timberline woodstove fire box, full 72" rotisserie(1,200 lb cap.) @
      4 1/2 revolutions per-minute, 4 cooking racks,10" stack on custom 8'×12' flat level floor trailer, with enough room for fuel(wood)
      prep & service area.
      Just so you know for future, that smoker has (1) one big FLAW, stack is above food & not level with food, therefore smoke enters & rises above food instead of being level with it for perfect smoking.
      Go to YOU-TUBE & watch
      Aaron Franklin(BBQ with Franklin) build one that's the proper way to build a smoker, just like mine.

    Whatever they were cooking at 2:45 did not look good. You never want gray meat. That was overcooked by a mile
    Edit: it wasn't his knives that were the problem, it was very overcooked and tough meat that was the problem
