We are mulching some overgrown areas around a corn farm, in the process I hit a large nest of bald-faced hornets and made them quite upset, luckily I noticed them and was able to stay in the cab of the machine. Despite that, everything turned out pretty good on day one of this job!

Yeh, they look like bald faced hornets. They're nasty too and very protective of their turn. One stings and that signals all the others to attack. Glad your cab is completely enclosed. Great video. I enjoy watching your projects.
Yeah the enclosed cab is such a blessing in this line of work for sure! They definitely would have been after me had I gotten out of the cab!

Enjoyed watching the video Devin 😊
Nice little job mate. Well done 🤙😎🇦🇺
I enjoyed watching your mulching process. That machine is a beast. I leaves everything clean like a hungry wild animal, but you tame it very well. Thanks for this video and it can leave a wild, long climax to the viewer. Good job!
🔥🔥🔥 ENJOYING GOING BACK AND WATCHING YOUR OLDER VIDS!!! Great content👏🏻👏🏻🤣
Sometimes your machine makes a growling, rumble noise that sounds like a dinosaur from that movie Jurassic Park or whatever it was called.
OMG that was exactly my first thought when you said you were surrounded by corn fields I was like "Hmmm he must be in Iowa"🤣🤣🤣
Very nice job Sir. Looks great. 🇨🇦
Hey I'm really enjoying the vids. Nice looking work on this job!
One thing I wouldn't go without is AT LEAST 1 can of wasp/hornet spray in the cab of each vehicle.
Wouldn't want to start any trouble but it would sure be nice to have something to end any!!
Keep those vids coming! 👍
Would have been great to see the hive as it was mulched!
That growth in the treea is gnarly. It is black in there with no sunlight ... it needs cleaning out. LOL easy for me to spend other people's money. You do a really good job clearing land.
9:28 that looks like it chromed its face and is ready to die in battle
FYI, Those Bald Face Hornets prey on Yellow-jackets, they will invade their nest and clean them out. Myself, I would rather have the Bald Face ones around.
The Skid Steer is a great machine for about anything but huge trees. Great invention.
Yeah it is, it can mow down some small brush for sure!
DUDEZILLA! Where can I go to get a 'Idigit4' sticker to proudly display in the workshop here at casa de McBride?????
When you did this job you must have hoped the cabin was sealed. You could see that hornet repeatedly stinging the Kubota😱 Great job. Take care & cheers from 🐨🦘🥰
Your machine reminds me of a prehistoric insect mowing down its prey. Very impressive!
FANTASTIC WORK
Absolutely that is a bald faced hornet...way worse sting than those bumblebees that got you ...stay away from those hornets !!! Good job,Job, Privett was really thick..lot of China berry in it too !
Thanks Gary! Yeah that stuff was thick on that corner and on that ditch! You don't have to tell me twice to stay away from hornets and bees!
Fast speed this is do much better. Loved watching the video
Man that stuff is thick!!!
I like it when you play it in fast speed.
The bald face Hornet doesn't have a mustache or beard but, one species of the Hornet family are well known for their Goatee.
The oil filter your talking about separates oil from air so no mess at crankcase breather hose engine gotta breathe operator man nice job Ga.fan
you had me cracking up at (Don't ask me what it is?) lol Another good job, Thanks for sharing
LOL thanks for watching Dan!
Always a good watch 🥰👍
Thank you sir, glad you enjoyed!
@@idigit4967 always
It's so satisfying to see private hedge get obliviated!!!!!
Least that's what we call it here in SE Oklahoma that your mulching up
You DO NOT want to be stung by a bald faced hornet !! One of the worst stings.
No doubt!
Hi cool video them dam hornets thought be safe out there lol I bet they need to get their combine through
I love how you can take a group and make it flat again..
Very nice work! I was out cutting a yard and ran over what I call digger bees, they had made a nest in the ground. I ran over it then came back and got hit about 8 times. Those suckers hurt like crazy! Those bald faced suckers look even worse!
Those were yellow jackets, they build nests in the ground
@@cathiwim
Call'em what ya want they hurt lol...thanks for the info
Really enjoyed this project! You do a great job!
Those are the biggest wasp/ Hornets I have seen,Wow!!
Great video! I really enjoyed it! Everything looks so nice after the clean up!
Nicely done... nice music too.
When the wasps start punching holes in your hydrolic lines, its time to call in the airstrikes :-)
🤣🤣🤣Definitely! I'll have to call my air force JTAC buddy to get me a bombing run! 🤣🤣🤣
Yes they are bald faced hornets
Man. That some tick stuff. I would have burned it. Lol
Good videos
had me 9 bald face hornet nests at the fairgrounds i use to caretake. they really liked the maples to build nests in. in the fall if you didnt get them down the red headed woodpeckers would destroy the nests.
WOW , I never knew Tom Hanks ran equipment on his Farm ? . That is who you sound like to me .
Need more than one machine running
It is a baldface hornet that type is some mean motor scooter.
You know that turned out pretty good good stuff. 👍👍😀🇨🇦
Just curious with the amount of money you have tied up in your equipment, maintenance, fuel etc, how long did it or would it take to pay for itself???
Not a big Kubota fan. Notice that when moving the boom or swinging the head slows. I don’t think that they perfected the proportioning system even on the high flow. Also, spin up takes too long. Maybe I’m bias because I ran an 040 for a couple of years... Don’t get me wrong, the operator is great. Too bad the equipment doesn’t keep up with him.
I run a Diamond disc mulcher i absolutely explodes those nests. I have had hornets follow the skid steer, that can be quite unnerving.
You would not want to be standing anywhere close by that. You'd catch a 8 inch long slinter in the head going 600mph.
This is exactly right! Thanks for watching Buddy!
Looks really good so far brother. Can’t wait to see the finished product. If you were closer to me, I’d have you then out my woods
Thanks Jeff! I finished the job today with the skid steer, should hopefully have that vid up on Saturday so stay tuned! There was some wicked brush cutting to do in that other area! A piece of brush flew out and destroyed the tripod tho LOL!
@@idigit4967 poor tripod and go pros need some serious hazard pay …. Lol
Thank you for the video showing awesome video 📹
Looks great.
Thank you very much! I appreciate you watching!
Excellent upload. Full watched and have a wonderful day...
That's nice. Great job buddy.
Wow impressive 👏
Thanks 😁
Be. Carefull. Don't. Let. Them. Sting. You. ❤
Have you ever found something hidden in the areas you clean.
The first patch you did. I think it would have been cool to make a tunnel to come out into those woods. that would have been cool I think.
Bald faced hornet or a Arial Nesting Yellowjacket to be specific
You should film sharpening the cutters....
Good.
Why don’t you mulch the stumps closer to the dirt. I would worry it would puncture my tractor tires driving over the finished product. Or maybe you are and the video doesn’t show it very well.
Did you start with a skid steer mulcher or an excavator mulcher?
Our road ditches are lined with the shit !!
That doesn't sound good...
Munchie was hungry - lol
LOL munchie was very hungry for sure!
Looks like it is time to learn a few routine maintenance items (save you a few hundred), at the 37 min mark filler music is what KSR uses...
Awesome Job!!
Very nice video!
SALUDOS FROM CLIFTON N.J ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO. G.B.Y.
it looks like a balled faced hornet, I always called them bald headed. also they can sting till you die unlike the hone bees. le timer
Ich verstehe nicht so recht, warum das Gebüsch entfernt wird. Muss das Feld größer werden ?
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
I also have a flail cutter on a bobcat E17 1.5 ton machine I am struggling to get the flail to work only when slewing any ideas? Ps yours is amazing gk uk 🇬🇧
I watch your channel this guy saves the hives and they’re called blonde face hornets
Nice job and video like always
Why need sand asmr when u have this guy laying in ur recommendeds
Hey, super glad you enjoyed the vid! I love seeing comments like this! Thank you!
Man, you got lucky !! Bald face hornets are actually wasps and can sting over n over n over. Horrible things!
Yeah one got me earlier this year, stung me twice and it hurt like hell! Thank you for watching Judy!
Hey, I was watching some of your older video's from last year with you running the mtl grapple on the JD. How do you like it? I am considering buying one but reviews are mixed, mostly due to the seller but some complaints about quality. I like the price though. Anyways keep up the great content :D
Sorry I just found the video of you reviewing the grapple. I should have looked harder. :)
that looks like a bunch of wild hedge (what I've heard it called)

they are a white faced hornet or a white tail hornet very aggressive and can sting more then once and hurt when they do
I think I'll call them dumpster bees.
it looks like something very painful if your stung....
👍👍👍from Hong Kong 🌷🍀🦋
Baixo rendimento, serviço mais demorado🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Bald Face Hornet
You charge extra for hornets and bees right? 😁 nice work my friend
LOL I wish! Someone said I need to hire an exterminator to follow me around! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching brother!
Thanks for letting us all join you on journey. Do you have a Fecon rotary head for your skid steer?
That's a white-faced hornet they will chase you
Hornet all day
Definitely!
Man I need to find someone like your company in the Chicagoland area.
that small malcher is ok for ponds but its way too slow thd skidster is way faster
Wow! It's getting to the point where you'll need an exterminator to tag along. I think those hornets on the Kubota were watching you. What's the old saying? "Always show respect for Mother Nature, because she has no respect for you". 🐝
I've never heard that saying before about mother nature but it is a good one! I wish I could afford an exterminator, the gnats were after me today bad!
@@idigit4967 those little things are awful! 😲
X@
Where did you say your located ? Any where near Newport TN ?
No I'm in coastal SC
Making the money good for you!
Thank you!
Bugs. Hornets. They eat meat. Hmm? What's around there for meat? Corn fields. They've been eating the caterpillars on the corn crop. Bugs are good and endangered right now. Hard to believe eh? If they die off we die off.
Mmmmmmmm 😋😋😋😋 yummy coooornnnn 😋😋😋😋😋yummy.,
Bald face hornet they can sting many times can be very nasty.
NICE
that job COULD have been done in approx. half the time with something like a P400...
It’s a bald face hornet and they are mean as hell
Yeah they were swarming the machine!
Bald Faced Hornet for sure they a the A??H?les of the wasp family. Not only will they sting you they bite, and its not just one that attacks its the whole colony at once.
That is a blonde face hornet
