7 Minute Hike with my Siberian Husky During the CICADA INVASION of 2024 | Nature Sounds

Literally just a 7 minute hike thru the middle of the 2024 cicada emergence mating season with my dog :) . This Road is a hiking trail thru what used to be the Joliet IL Ammunition Plant for ww2 .

Was in traffic in New Lenox and heard them got home and nothing but frogs went to Mazon and they were everywhere. Such a cool sound and walking with a buddy out in the stix highly recommended. Every day is a gift, thanks for sharing your adventures. Some people who are immobile experienced the world right outside their window by watching what you and others download.

I’m surprised to hear those cicadas- I live in the next town over and I’ve only seen a handful of cicadas in the past few months.

Go walk Hoff Road Trailhead while you still have time , it's not nearly as loud as this video (this was a couple weeks ago) but there are still a bunch all down the trail. Just stopped there again yesterday 👍
