Faelen is off leash trained and always under direct supervision. It is also important to note that Faelen was only 15 months old in this video- fully mature wolfdogs are often not as dog-friendly as Faelen, and taking them to places like the dog beach may not be possible later in life.

he's probably awae of the size and weight difference, much like how any (properly trained and socialized) dog knows to be careful when playing with puppies or small kids.
This wolf dog is extremely trained because other wolf dogs I have met were not dog friendly so clearly this woman is doing an amazing job raising the wolf hybrid

@@user-ec9yu1ep2j That is not accurate. The biting capacity of a wolf is 1,500 pounds of pressure per square inch. Kangals have a bite force of 700 pounds per square inch.

Other than that, Kangals do have among the highest bite forces among domesticated dog breeds.
Wolfdog are such beautiful animals, this is proof if trained properly and treated with kindness wolfdog can be around strangers and other dogs
it would certainly increase your chances. However, despite all the training and socialization in the world, a wolfdog might just not like strangers or other dogs. You have to be prepared for that too.

@@runningwithwolfdogs8658 yep. I have had pups from the same litter all turn out wildly different. Seen 180+lb male that you could not coax aggression out of and a 60lb female smaller Canadian wolf that wanted nothing more than to kill all that moved. Same handling and socialization.

At my old office someone brought their wolfdog to work and I got to pet him. He was huge, beautiful, and majestic. Unlike petting a regular dog and very memorable.
Amazingly well behaved, I know we all can tell how much work she put into making him such a good boi.

I love how he's bigger than all the other dogs around but he plays very gently with the smaller dogs. Reminds me of my own dog, he's not a wolfdog but he is a mixed labrador, absolutely massive, could plow through anything of he so desired. He's still really careful with all the other pup, even if they get rough he doesn't typically throw his weight around unless he's paying with a dog of his size.

This is why i love big dogs that are supposedly "mean" because usually they are the most gentle, they and the other dogs know the power it possesses, they have no need to act like A Wholes unless they absolutely have to, just like a human bad ass, no need to mean mug if you know you can react during real trouble.

Yeesh. This really gives you a sense of scale of this critter. German Shepard, Husky, both are dwarfed by him, and he's still a puppy.
funny watching that Belgium Malinois play with Faelen. It might be the only dog that has more energy and requires more maintenance than a wolfdog.

Wolves are just another race of dog. If other races get into the wild they can adapt too and hunt in packs and all the rest of it, and some do. Wolves arent wild, any more than dogs are.

I was supposed to ask a question about Faelen's safety but found the answer in the description of the movie. Maybe Faelen won't attack, but will he be able to cope when an iinyy dog attacks him? At times their hair was bristling
