Working on an 06 r6 right now, I haven’t found a video explaining how to get the guide bushings out and replaced, was hoping this vid would but sadly no :( and yes I j iq it’s an r1 but it’s a similar desig
Isn’t it supposed to be filled to 101mm? Maybe the earlier models from the 07/08 rn19 have different front forks? I know some track guys go to 120mm to add a bit of air rebound. But ether way your massively over filling your forks with the wrong oil too!
Also OEM is zero to 5w not 10, that too far out of spec for the small valves these forks have, the race guys sometimes use it as they have re valved to bigger, and it can pass the thicker oil easily 😊
You did the rebound wrong, it should be all the way IN to release it. And I don’t want to be the bearer of complete bad news as I could not see very clearly but you had spring up on your seal, that’s the wrong way round, the flat part of the seal should be facing down to the floor🫣. Like I say it was hard to see
Thank you! The quality of your instruction is great. Ill come to you for future repairs and troubleshooting
