The only thing stopping it is tough competition in the same segment. Canyon, mondraker, cannon etc are all now selling similar bikes. That new canyon is carbon with good components for around 5k. (Not a fan of Canyon personally)
But do they also have competition for the lt version? I know transition relay and cannondale moterra neo sl. Pivot shuttle sl has much less travel and is more trail oriented. 35 Nm of spec kenevo sl is a joke- you feel it is much less power than the full kenevo/levo, while I didn't have that feeling with pivot (fazua vs full power shimano) or orbea (1st gen rise vs wild).
I tried the Mondraker Dune RR Yesterday, I currently have the Rise M10 2021, The Mondraker is an absolute masterpiece of a bike, the suspension feel is hard to describe…. It’s like you’re riding on cushion of air and marshmallows 😂!! I don’t know how they’ve done it but what a bike… maybe because it’s Öhlins suspension 🤔incredible 🎉 , I haven’t tried the new Rise yet but it’ll be hard to beat The Mondraker Dune !
It’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. Aesthetically it’s brilliant but, I agree, it can be infuriating to use. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
This is a failure, the Rise was revolutionary as it was lighter and more nimble. Now it is just a slightly lighter Wild. Why get a Rise? Just get the Wild. Or why even sell a Wild?
We completely see your point. It does seem that Orbea are potentially competing with their own product. However, the Rise will undoubtedly come in significantly lighter than the Wild, particularly if you go for the smaller battery version. Also, although the EP8 RS motor will now kick out 85nm of torque, its peak watt output is still lower than the Bosch Performance Line CX motor on the Wild, so it will need more rider involvement like the original Rise. Thanks for your comment and taking the time to watch our video. Jason
Nah the Wild is a tank , I tried the brand new Mltd Wild yesterday, amazing bike but the weight is ridiculous and imo unnecessary, the Rise is way way lighter

The bike looks absolutely raw! I will definitely be ordering this one.
We totally agree. If we can help with your next Rise purchase, please let us know. Thanks very much for watching our video. Jason
Great video thanks 😊
You’re welcome 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting! Jason
Nice Bike.
Certainly looks that way. Thanks for watching 👌
Ebike motors really need to get some improvements and quality control . Wouldn’t touch the ep801
