Congratulations Guys! Thanks for the video and info. I recognized your opening video; you were coming out of our new neighborhood, Lake Denham Verandas West! We purchased on Chad Court and we are slowly moving in over the next few months while I finish up my job on Eglin AFB. Wish we could make the Fireside event, hopefully next time. Looking forward to 2024!
Sooo excited, we are planning to build at Eastport. Our realtor says the lots we will want should start to release in Juneish. Which would put us completed in the first part of 2025. Can't wait.
My only thing about living down that way is that the high school will be very loud for a majority of the year. We have thought about moving over that way, I'm just not sold on it yet.
That one area was courtyard villas not Verandas. You can tell by the design of them. When they have the garage out front they are courtyard. I like the black windows they are using in Eastport. Some cute new style of houses. We will be there in 2 days. Can't wait!
Great video of the fronts of the new models near Eastport. The empty lots between the models may be for open house parking overflow. I would love to see the interiors, floor plans, & pricing for the new models to see what changed & improved from the last models near Franklin Rec center. Since there was a crane near the new models, I assume some of the homes are precast/ tilt wall design. Ps … loved your video channel of getting stuck in the mud off roading while camping in Georgia?
We will be working to get into the new models as soon as they are open, yes they are using precast! We were in Kentucky/Tennessee in the Land Between the Lakes National Forest preserve. That was just a highlight. Currently trying to edit the full video. It will be a good one! Thanks for supporting both channels!
I believe they are using precast exclusively now and have gone away from block construction. Of course, there are still frame and siding construction, also.
I learned at a villages open house that the same exact floor plan has a different name depending on whether it is frame, block, or precast construction, and depending on whether the exterior walls are 8 or 10 feet tall. So the same floor plan can 4 or 5 or 6 different names. It makes it unnecessarily confusing.
That's not 100% accurate. They are using floor plans that they have had for some time. They are introducing new plans. Some of those plans may have been used at Middleton.
Can you please find out the model name of the white board and batten house one was at 7967 and another was at 7890 Katie Keith, I believe ? I can NOT find any information whatsoever on those new model homes. Thanks ! The modern farmhouse style is right up my alley as a Georgia girl living in metro Atlanta burbs……we have been interested in moving there, but the thought of boring FL looking houses has kept me not so convinced. It finally looks like they may be building something more my style.
I do not have pricing yet, but from previous homes prices, it would be safe to say the range would be from $350k - $600k ? Maybe les , maybe more. Just depends on which floor plan and the extras added to the home.
It is classified as a 55+ community. However they allow 10% or 20% of residents to be under 55. Only one member of the home needs to be over 55 to qualify as part of the 55+.
Happy anniversary!! enjoyed the video. My wife and I will be buying a new designer home in April, cant wait.
Awesome!

We have friends that live on Chad Court. That's exactly where we were at.

That’s exciting! My mom and I are hoping to move our retail store down to Eastport and she will be living in that area too!
My only thing about living down that way is that the high school will be very loud for a majority of the year. We have thought about moving over that way, I'm just not sold on it yet.
What village please?
Happy Anniversary, Derek and Karen! Unfortunately we can't make this one. You southerners know how to party. 🥳
Thank you Mr Rizzo
Might be parking for people wanting to tour the model homes.
Yeah thinking so!
Exactly what that is parking. Watch Goldwingnut he tells it in his video.
Happy Anniversary

Yeah I figured that out during editing. It's kinda overwhelming to look through the construction mess lol!
So nice to see you guys last night at the “fireside gathering” great host/ hostess. Enjoyed the ambiance and laughs.
Fun time fun time
That white house that looked like 2 homes at 7967 would be interesting to see.
That is a really cool house yes

This is a great tour! Do you have any idea where they are doing the lifestyle visits these days? We're thinking of visiting around April/May.
Heard of folks staying near Marsh Bend, but most are still in Alden near Brownwood.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉🎉
Happy new year to you both!
Happy Anniversary 😍
Thank you!!
Show all the insides of Rec centers!!
They are using the same floor plans that they have in Middleton now (but calling them different things).

We will try to get that information soon Yes.
Second house may be a Casita
Ha
Cool.
What is the average cost of these homes?

How old do you have to be to live in the villages

@LifestyleinTheVillages Per law it's actually 20% can be below age 55. But no one less than 19 years of age.
Where in Michigan did you guys live?
We were in the Detroit area, more to the west past Novi.
Sand.
