Hi guys! How many miles do you have on that golf
cart. I'm guessing you have to be around 1,000 by now. We're getting ready to pull the trigger on a D5 Ranger 4 ourselves. BTW my wife and I are Team Michael on the garage door.

We had metal handles on our garage when we lived in Belmont, but they were magnetic and removable. Maybe theirs are too?

A whole street full of new designer homes has opened up on the interior side of Frank DiPietro drive area in Shady Brook (stones throw from Saluki and Shady Brook pools). The yards are larger. I close on that street next week. Compared to Well Point you are far away from the Turnpike. I also like the idea that when my 20'ish daughters show up on a visit, I can take them right next door to Middleton (more people their age).

Noticed...many of those new builds are not concreate block walls. Is it still true that all homes w/siding are Wood framing and regular siding? I know Tiffany is very safety conscious - are you guys looking to build a concrete block/stucco home? I know it's more expensive upfront. But to the best of my knowledge if it's block and especially if the walls are reinforced with rebar and poured concreate you should get a break on insurance. Which means it could possibly pay for itself in insurance savings over time. And of course MUCH safer then wood framing and siding. Wishing Tiff best of luck w/tomorrow's procedure!!

I'm with you on the garage door hardware, but you can also get aftermarket magnetic applique hardware and windows that are very realistic looking. That way, if you don't like the look, they are easy to remove.

Even though I’m not near retirement yet (just turned 40), I’ve already started thinking about it-and I get so excited when I think of The Villages! I'm single and plan on staying that way, but I do wonder how that works in a place where it seems like there are way more couples than singles. That part has me a bit nervous! I’ve always loved snowy winters, but The Villages is really making me reconsider! Michael & Tiffany, I love your videos! Keep up the amazing work!
I'm 58.5 and my wife and I are so excited about moving in the next few years, probably retire at 62 because we want to be there!
No worries about that. There are several single people in our little neighborhood (village)I think it’s becoming more common here in The Villages.

Does the villages take care of landscaping maintenance for every neighborhood?
Also- can you put up any fencing (for dogs).
Each homeowner is responsible for their own landscaping/yard maintenance. Most Villagers pay someone to do it, but you can do it yourself if you choose to do so. If you buy a fenceless home, you cannot add it later. Most people who want fencing go with either a Courtyard Villa, Cottage Villa, or a Veranda home, as they already have the fenced-in back yard.
I am team Tiffany on the garage door carriage style accents. I'm not a big a fan of the little windows in the garage door though. Our garage in our courtyard villa has a full sized window with blinds on it so we can control privacy. Our villa also has a storm door, so if we're feeling welcoming we can open the front door and lock the storm door, which also has a roll down screen, so we can go window or screen in it. Those are some of the things you can get when you buy pre-owned. Storm doors, ceiling fans, lanai enclosures, bird cages, painted driveways, sealed garage floors, solar tubes and more. Those things add up. I wonder why TV stopped putting in the ceiling fans and then went back to them?

What house plan for a small SUV and 2 golf cars? Golf cars can be parked one behind the other. Life style visit probably summer 2025
There are a lot of different models that would work. Especially if you only have one car.
Is the garage hardware real? Or magnetic? In our designer neighborhood in Newell they are all magnetic! And it looks like TV developers have decided to save $$ by avoiding fence building as much as possible in the new areas.
I would have to have a front porch. That’s just me.

We came down in 2022, no lifestyle visit we just rented 4 homes in Fernandina, Chitty Chatty, St. Catherine and Fenney!! So far, nice place to visit but living there full time no so much..

I’m not on either team I’m on my own separate team… 😊 You can have a little bit of hardware on your garage door to break up the overwhelmingly, big, blank, white door… but you are showing examples where hardware is overdone. It’s all about balance.
I think I’m on team Tiffany because when you have to go to manual operation it can be helpful to have a garage handle on the outside… As a compromise you can use the magnetic garage door hardware to see how things look and if you don’t like it you return it or modify it And only use some of the hardware. Go Tiffany!

The wrought iron hardware on the garage is magnetic. You could put it on the garage for Tiffany, Michael, and remove it if you get tired of it. Personally, I don’t care for it. Thanks for sharing. All the houses appear gray on my smart 📺 because of the overcast sky.
