I played Die another day in Britain in their academy and surfing with parachute and falling of iceberg still I remembers.But Ivanka married Jard.I still remembers those small small gadget weapons I used and that ring just I touched and whole floor destroyed and brocked and two north Korean officers leg brocked I ran to Ivanka.
I would definitely place the courtroom shootout in Skyfall along with a mountain of scenes from Casino Royale as proof that you are grossly mistaken....and that is just of the top of my head

Die Another Day might have been ridiculous and dumb, but it was NOT jeopardizing the franchise, it earned a lot of money. And Brosnan and the rest of the crew practically got another shot with Everything Or Nothing on PS2, two years later. They didn't "have" to reboot, they chose to because they got so desperate and they wanted to chase the Bourne fad.

Number two: Diamonds is a weak Bond film but it has the fantastic elevator fight with Franks, the burning coffin at Slumber inc scene, Mr Wint and Mr Kidd, the iconic Mustang stunt plus a superb John Barry score. Number three: Connery was pretty disinterested in Diamonds but even a disinterested Connery is still good. Number four: OHMSS is damn great film - it suffered from Connery's departure in '69 but has since been rightly reappraised as one of the best - if not the best - in the series (it always ranks highly in any favourite Bond movie poll). Number five: Lazenby does a very good job as 007 considering it was his first acting role and brought a new dimension to the character, making him more vulnerable. Number six: Die Another Day made a lot of money at the Box Office but just because a film makes a lot of money doesn't mean it's any good. Number seven: Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson felt Die Another Day went too far and wanted to pull the franchise back (I quote Wilson in an interview with Variety in January 2020 - “We got too fantastical. We had to come back to Earth.”)
