A more burning question is, considering how the cops perceived Bond as the terrorist enough to beat him down and arrest him for how much destruction he caused in the process of stopping the real terrorist, how did Bond ever get off the hook and set free from the cops after that?
@@bornfordimes I don’t think having a licence to kill would’ve gotten him off the hook at all. Besides, those cops don’t even know who he is right away. 8:00 Very good scene JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA.
Easily the greatest Bond film ever made. Non-stop incredible scenes, impeccable work from everyone. The later films are hit-n-miss, and the pre-Craig ones haven't dated well. But Casino Royale is perfect.
That's exactly why Casino Royale is Craig's best Bond film and my favorite spy movie of all time, because of that delicate balance of action and drama.
I think this was daniel craig's best bond film. I liked quantum of solace, skyfall and spectre also but casino royale was his best one for sure because i guess it still had that pierce brosnan bond influence especially with the action music you would hear in brosnan bond movies. I hope no time to die will be good since it's daniel craig's last one.
This one and skyfall was his best solace was good too but not a great as this and skyfall hopefully we’ll have the story like of skyfall and the action and ruthless bond of casino royale in no time to die
Same here. I’ve always felt that Casino Royale was Craig’s best performance, as well as the best Bond film overall during his tenure. He really had everything in this performance-the charming arrogance, the action, the lethality, the suave dry humor, etc..He’s seemed too robotic in his subsequent performances, like a Terminator robot wearing a suit. Casino Royale he really personified the Bond character in my opinion
Got to love the smirk on Bond's face after the terrorist accidently blew himself up. I always going back to that scene many times on my DVD. I can't wait to see more of Craig's Bond!! :)
This scene was so amazing I’m not usually a big action movie guy but this scene is top class action. This feels like the ending action scene but this is still the first act of the film
One of the most breath taking stunt scenes i've ever scene hats of to the stunt people and the musicians for the bg score that totally matched . Must have involved 20 outtakes to make this scene right . Makes me remind of the bourne supremacy moscow car chase in which it won the best bg mix and the stunt too was amazing.
8 minutes of sheer joy and she STILL keeps asking me what's my obsession with James Bond movies. Whelp, Star Wars got too switcheroo, the Matrix got too complicated ( how are these guys keeping their sunglasses on after elbow smashes to the face, bad as Mr.Motto), don't even know who Spiderman is anymore, but Bond...James Bond is my Quantum of Solace. That's why it'll just be me and the grandkids sitting at the movies whenever No time to die gets released.
Funny thing is all throughout the 60s and the 70s nobody could do this sort of thing as well as the Bonds but nowadays there's Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible, etc.
Martin Campbell can do ACTION! We haven't seen it this good since he left. Sam Mendes is a complete disaster in that regard, embarrassing even. I wish Campbell would come back!
CR was Daniel Craig's best outing as Bond , unfortunately none of the sequels could reduplicate the magic or live upto the mark set by this masterpiece.
Good on Craig for keeping the standard of his performances consistent. Say what you will about the plots but Craig’s portrayal of Bond has always been on point in my opinion
The overhead shot of Bond leaping and subsequently rolling away from the oncoming truck is a phenomenal stunt. Anyone know how they did that? Maybe have the stuntman roll towards the vehicle as it's reversing, then reverse the film?
I think they may have just done the math with it, ie time how long it takes to do the roll, work out what speed each truck needs to be doing and mark exactly what point he needs to make the leap
Efectivamente, es una escena magistral. Difícilmente se pudo haber hecho esa escena, sin la participación de especialistas del más alto nivel. Coincido en que es un pedazo de segmento.📽️🎥🎬🎞️👏🏻👍🏻🇨🇱
Film directors, take a lesson from the editing and camera work in this scene. Fluidly done. Not the damn shaky cam of many action scenes of today with rapid micro-editing that makes a person dizzy.
If you watch top gear, they modified the Jumbo jet parked at the airfield for this film, you can see the engines are the same when they do the power laps.
2006 the year I started school at 5 in September same month I turned 5 and Have loved this Bond film since Then and Still Now At 17 one of my Favourite Bond Movies And One Of My Favourite Movies of all time. 2:01 So, no one thought it was a good idea to guard this guy while fixing the tires at night? Also, did the guy really not hear all of the police sirens around the airport? If I heard this many police sirens, especially at a place like an airport. I would be running for my life. Not continuing my work. Kinda feel bad for this guy.
@@DLordSadowGiven it's daylight in London from the shots in M's office (and earlier scenes correctly observed Bahamian/UK time difference), you're probably right.
Yeah, but that was like, 27 years ago. There's also the truck chase sequence from Lethal Weapon 3, remember? But I don't mind. This works. Boy, am I glad the Bond movies are back to their former glory.
Probably one of the best Bond kills. Not because he made him explode but because Bond had a satisfying smirk when the guy blew up
