Die Another Day (2002) - Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is traded for Zao in the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) that splits South of North Korea. MGM / UA 2012. All rights reserved
'Lets get this over with shall we' gotta give some props to Brosnan. While Bond is suitably in character defiant you can sense genuine fear since he thinks he's gonna get shot and this is it. You rarely see tension in the Bond character.
This movie started with so much going for it. Bond is betrayed, captured, tortured and then released, and only released because his superiors thought he was haemorrhaging information. We could have had a movie with Bond going rogue to track down his betrayer and an in depth look at what betrayal and torture did to his psyche, kind of like a psychological thriller but keeping some of the usual bond tropes such as the big bad villain and a small appearance from Q branch. Something dark and gritty with Pierce, a classically trained actor, doing alot more than looking pretty. What did we get? Invisible cars, sex jokes, an ice palace, laser shit fights and two ridiculous plastic surgery villains, one with diamonds in his face.
I mean.. it wouldnt be a good Bond movie if it was Jason Bourne, thats reason why Craig movies have been criticized (well also for how he looks) interms of modern take on Bond
I said this just last night. Could not agree more. I still like Moonraker though. It only went batshit in the final act but it still retained its charm with good characters, decent deaths and nice one-liners. The 1st twenty minutes of Die Another Day was up there with the best of them. Then utter unlikeable trash. The invisible car was too much. Jynx was a ridiculous character. It had that awful dumb slow-mo shot when Jynx I think gets knocked out, a sad trope of the early noughties. That awful awful windsurfing scene.. made worse with the shocking CGI. The villains motivation and plan was ridiculous. People give it stick for Madonna's cameo, they doesn't bother me. There are so much worse things than Madonna in this film. The actual sword fight itself is ridiculous. Even for a Bond Film. Bond villains should be cool, calm and collected at first. Not slashing like a fucking maniac in public then brush it off as a friendly duel or whatever. And to top it all off, it had a 'Yo Momma" joke. What the fuck. Started off so promising. I think Brosnan did a good job as Bond. Goldeneye is in my top 5 Bonds. TWINE fantastic and TNDs is good also. Die Another Day is by far the Worst Bond by a country mile. Quantum of Solace and A View to a Kill (my other least favourite Bonds) are considerably better than this. I would still happily sit down and watch them without s second thought... I don't remember what movie, but it's been revealed in one line that James Bond is an alias. Used by one agent until he retires. Then assigned to another agent who takes his place. It can fit in the same time line that it's a different person with each new series.
It's possible that each person to take an alias needs to have similar habits as the previous, so that's why every 'James Bond' has a problem with alcohol abuse and disrespect for women.

The production company is under heavy heat and facing multiple charges because of the uploads created from live streams involving multiple accounts and units. They were notified of such in an official capacity and are in litigation and pending trial. More than several have played the line in attempts to bring forth justice to a select group. They are not the only roles who can play a role, two or three. The con is over and more than several are facing serious charges as a result.
Well if you notice in the intro they tried to use that as his weakness, having a women there to kinda mess with him. Interms of the interrogation process
Though I hated Die Another Day starting from the Iceland scene but the storyline of this movie is quite good. Its like dealing with the last frontier of the Cold War remnants (in this case North Korea) before they reboot the series and make the Bond storyline more realistic.

So for the 14 months he was held prisoner James Bond never got laid in all that time?
The female guards would hardly been allowed to shag Bond even if they would have wanted to.
He was busy getting tortured by poison.
Well if you notice in the intro they tried to use that as his weakness, having a women there to kinda mess with him. Interms of the interrogation process
😂😂😂 love the comments 😂😂😂
Poor Bond his insulin levels were almost at breaking point without regular sexual activity 😂😂😂😂
Would have loved to have hear at least a little of the audio...
Rip Kenneth Tsang 1934-2022
Though I hated Die Another Day starting from the Iceland scene but the storyline of this movie is quite good. Its like dealing with the last frontier of the Cold War remnants (in this case North Korea) before they reboot the series and make the Bond storyline more realistic.
More epically gay you mean
Liver not too good!
All them Vodka Martinis Bond’s been drinking.
Free Radicals 🍸🍸🍸 M

Amazing scene
My favourite scene
bond in this clip looks like jesus
and with that being said, a illegal piece of a perfect liver would have served him well but aquiring it, a crime.
by now, there should have been an official arrest warrant issued
