Thanks for the shot out and love on the lures! Not gonna lie, you where MOVING around the lake that day! Was a little jelly when I had to work hard to catch up.
Hey bro, love that boat. In 2019 I purchased my new 2.5 Suzuki outboard. Then COVID came and you couldn't find that boat or any top brand kayak available. My 1st kayak was the Hoodoo tempest 120p, and I loved it. To learn, be arteries, setup, my gear equipment. Last season I could've purchased any vessel I wanted even probably a solo skiff. I wanted that boat and still do, I just wish they went 11ft, with some storage. I planned on running the 8ball steerable motor, my outboard, and all my electronics, accessories, etc. I love my new 2023' Hoodoo impulse 120, fin drive, same color radiant Citrus. I run the new PP 768 BIXPY J2, and all my gear and accessories. I'm 5ft 7" 161lbs. So I can walk all over my boat, and I'm sure Jonny would be the same. Crazy enough still thinking of just purchasing it for next season. And it is stable, my best friend has one. That's how I fell in love with it. Good luck bro. 🌊🎣 🛶
Appreciate it brother! Sounds like you’ve got a heck of a set up! The Jonny boat is a pretty dope set up! I agree, a 11/12 ft option would be 🔥. I imagine a 12 footer would be CRAZY stable. Thanks for sharing bro!
Solid first look, I would be interested in your thoughts on its comparable in the other companies (Old Town, Hobie etc). 1500 for all that, does anyone have anything close?
Hey brother! I will definitely make a comparison video, though the kayaks serve two different markets. No one has anything close to that price for an out-of-the-box motorized kayak. Thanks for the question and for watching Luke!
Great on the water review. For the price that thing looks awesome. I’m thinking about something like this or the Pelican CATCH PWR 100 in the future. Not crazy about those rails. I’d need an adapter to use all of my gear I already put on them? Weak. Also, does that 8 Ball get in the way should you need to paddle? Sure looks like it.
Thanks for watching Bryan! Not loving the adaptors for the rails, but it is what it is I suppose. The rail space is insane (in a good way). The 8 ball steering handle would probably be in the way if you have to paddle but at that point, it is easy enough to remove should you have to paddle.
Hey Dan. Try beardeddad10 and let me know if it doesn’t work. If not I’ll give Jonny Boats a call tomorrow to get it straightened out. Thanks for watching!

Question 🙋♂️
Can we switch out the repeller motor for a paddle one? Like a mirage drive?
Not sure how easy that would be to do switch out without some major modifications to the drive
How's the stability for standing in it
Stability is dang good. Probably the most surprised by how stable it is than anything else.
Well i definitely be tuning in for the backflips 😂. Hey good review man🤝🏼. Until the next one ✌🏼.
That might be my last video for a long time 👨🏽🦼😅
Appreciate it brother! Thanks for watching 💪🏽

That’s a sweet boat man. Maybe I missed it but what was your top speed? Great video as always Jay!
Thanks Lucas! Didn’t get a read yet on top speed but I’ll guess just under 4mph.
can jonny boats use manual pedals on the front? Like flap pedals & propeller pedals
No too far from the seat.
Would you use this in a harbor or ocean?
Maybe a calmer harbor but not likely open water. Those rigs should be longer, minimum 12 foot and a bit narrower to cut through the wakes.

Sweet bro! Thanks for the love!
Hey the discount code doesn’t work. Is there another I can use?

@@BeardedDadFishing Doesn’t work as well, thanks lmk ASAP trying to get on the water soon haha btw your review was great and informative.
@@DizonAdventures getting an answer now brother! Will be back in touch asap
@@DizonAdventures should be all good now! Let me know if you have any more issues.
@@DizonAdventures awesome man! Yes the rear attachments for the bar comes with the rack mounts while the front is attached with screws.
I've been stressed out so much recently... I can't get the attention of my wife... So I just sat down and got comfortable...
That did the trick...
LOL #husbandlife
the 8ball steering is junk. feelfree needs to redesign the controller unit. well documented by bigfish owners
Thanks for the input 👍🏽
