I never thought about putting wheels on my kayak. That is a good idea and I will look into it, And I also have the exact same outriggers as you, I only have an electric motor though that’s basically all I need for a huge lake. You definitely need that motor, and I like how you turn the outriggers up so they don’t get blown off as you’re flying through the water and then you put them down. I imagine when you’re fishing or just going slow very good idea.😊
Good job! Look like a remarkable compact enhancement to put all in a such small space. What’s max speed? Be careful, it can be a kamikaze run when crossing over a big wave from a larger boat especially blue floaters put upside down, waved water can push one floater downward and flip the fast running kayak in seconds. I’ve a bad experience with my 17ft ski boat passing big waves at 40miles/h, it flew up between waves and landed very hard, my back pains last days. Perhaps you own the lake, no other boats are allowed.😅
I would have to wonder. Is that boat transom rated for that kind of weight and forces. (More than likely not.) The boat looks to be Poly. Poly boats don't take constant weight in one spot very well. The forces bending back and forth on the transom will eventually break. Good example: Scupper holes in kayaks, then using Scupper hole carts to move them around. They usually always break out sooner or later. Sometimes even the kayaks that are designed for such carts. So, be aware!
@@chrisparker9886 It's great fun to have lots of power. But I know even on an Aluminum or fiberglass boats. They all have their ratings also. Overweight & over force on any these construction materials do break the transoms out. This is all why they have ratings.

It's rated for a 2.5hp gas and 3hp electric.

No it only rated for 2.5 HP outboard motor. But I mortified it with my own transom. Thanks
