I just wonder how long she's able to talk without having an emotional meltdown. She's very unstable emotionally. Maybe it will happen as she gets cross-examined.
She constantly looks at the jury for reassurance and every sentence has a high inflection and the end which makes it sound like she’s asking questions and waiting for a response. I can’t wait for her to be cross examined. I believed her for so long until this came to court and it makes me feel so stupid. Also its clear that she’s taking advantage of the fact that he was under the influence and can be seen as a unreliable witness to his actions…. But it’s very clear that she’s grasping for straws and trying to claw her way out. She reminds me of 2 of my abusers and it just makes me sick.
Why would you believe her to begin with
everyone believed her. The entire world pointed fingers at jonny depp the second that demon opened her mouth. This is how the world treats men and women. This is what feminism teaches the world, that men are guilty until proven innocent and that women are beautiful innocent angels. Only because of this trial and because of how obvious it is that amber is a witch does the world believe him now. Before we could see these 2 people in "private", people believed the woman first.
But amber is a awful actor compared to other female abusers. Trust me that i know women who could sit in that chair give off a much much better performance than her. And these women manage to abuse their boyfriends or husbands for years until they manage to cut them off, and they have to live with the consequences after that (like being hated by their children because the mother taught them so).
I consider it a miracle that people, including the press actually realize whats going on between the two. I expected this to go the other way. I expected amber to give off this cringe-worthy testimony like she does in this video, and with the world respond with "oh my good look at this poor woman and her tears, it breaks my heart, depp is a monster!" and me vomiting in circles after everything is over.
I still cannot believe that jonny, a known drunk who reguarly does drugs too, is getting justice, even though hes facing a ATTRACTIVE, PRETTY, WEALTHY and FAMOUS woman. This shouldnt be possible because it almost never ever happens this way. Women like these instantly have half of the world population on her side because half the world population is female..
I think she fooled a lot of people in the beginning. What bothers me the most now is that the big companies like Loreal Disney ,Warner and the mainstream medias keep on backing her up just because they won't recognize they've made a mistake with her.

When she started reminiscing about how great their relationship was, that is NOT how a traumatized person talks about an abusive relationship. Depp speaks and acts like hes been traumatized by their relationship. She does not.

The only thing that makes me want to believe her is the breathing(I have ptsd and get breathless when talking about things like this), but everything she’s saying, the way she’s saying it, sounds made up. And she’s an actor, so it should especially sound believable lol. By the tapes originally taken by her and split apart and sold, him asking why her tone changes, her telling him no one will believe him, telling him to kill himself, and everything else that she omitted from her original submissions, people lying on her behalf and being caught, the makeup… I just can’t believe her. I think she’s definitely lying.
you clearly know nothing about abuse - the initial grooming/love bombing which secures a victim; the intermittent reinforcement and the resultant trauma bonding and perpetual confusion about whether the abuser is good or bad. The mental trauma from all of the above, the confusion and the gaslighting absolutely make someone talk like Amber is. As a former victim myself I relate to every cadence, pattern and inflection of her speech and delivery.

This woman screams narcissist. The way she speaks, devoid of emotions, just giving a practiced speech. The way she recalls the alleged events, it's like telling a story rather than recalling a memory.
The only emotion that seems genuine from Amber is when she is describing an angry situation. She nails the emotion of anger because it's second nature to her. No acting required. Pulling off the emotion of sadness requires skills she doesn't have and probably never will.

As someone whose seen real pain and emotion, I’m having a hard time making sense of her arguments. She’s questioning why Johnny would believe she took his drugs, saying that the only reason why could be that she, someone who doesn’t use drugs, took them for herself. That’s not the only reason a person would take someone’s drugs and hide them. And what she is insinuating is that that is the only reason. A more logical reason is that she took them to hide them from him so that he would stop doing them, that’s a reason that actually makes sense, but according to what she saying, that thought never even came into her head. Doesn’t make sense. I also noticed no tears, yes, some people don’t cry, but with the amount of emotion that she is showing in her testimony, I would’ve expected to see tears during the part of the story where she describes that he did a cavity search without her permission after ripping off her clothes…

For people that are survivors of domestic violence this is a slap in the face from her. My mother is a surviver I have seen her reaction when a little comment is brought up and how she refused to even talk about it because it hurts so much. She talks about how she is a victim like is a story book. When my parents were getting divorce my mother couldn’t even faced him, she refused all the financial help from him because of how painful it was. This lady is full of it! No tears no emotions.

Same... I've been in a violent relationship. It's been now around 10 years from the last court date (i got the court forbid him from contacting, stalking or coming too close to me) and it's still a nightmare to relive it. Also, it's not as "bubbly" as she makes it out to be. I mean, i can actually talk about it and do, to spread awareness but it's... well, heavier, more daunting and hard to talk about. amber's a scam artist.

Ikr. The victim usually has a vague memory of the situation because they are trying to erase a terrible time from their mind. I know that because I had awful experiences myself, from bullying to sexual harassment, I don't wanna remember those moments, so I erase the picture from my mind, because I don't wanna recall how weak I was at that time. It isn't very comfortable to remember. So, that makes me don't remember detail and I also don't wanna face my aggressors ever. I know she's lying bcz she was staring at Johnny with no fear, while Johnny can't stand to look at her. AH also knows every micro-detail of the situation bcz a liar tends to exaggerate everything. In their mind, "if I can paint the picture clearly, they would believe me."
The other thing is I know that AH likes reading books, and when I listened to her story, it was like I was reading a novel. She clearly makes a narrative like when you put detail when writing fiction. She adorned her word while imagining all those things in her mind. I am a writer myself, and how she described the situation is similar to how I write my novel.
When a genuine person tells a sad story, they try their best to not break down and cry. In fact, they try so hard to control their emotions. Liars and fakers, on the other hand, do the opposite. They overdo their sadness and exaggerate their emotions which is what AH is doing. She has learnt 2-3 expressions and just sticks to that the whole time.

A. The most unforgivable thing I’ve heard her doing to him was withholding his withdrawal medication when he was trying to kick his opioid habit. What kind of power trip must you be on to do something like that?? When an addict is going through withdrawal and they feel symptoms coming on, you don’t mess around with that pill. The most strong willed people die from withdrawal, and I’m sure if that happened she would have showed up to his funeral like

B. She really isn’t a good actor, she’s talking about her “trauma” as if she had already had it pre-prepared instead of recalling facts. You can tell the difference between when Johnny would pause while he was testifying and how she pauses. When Johnny would pause, you could genuinely see on his face that what he was talking about hurt, and was hard for him to get out. Whereas this woman, her pauses are more like “okay so what do I say happened next and how can I get the most sympathy”
I agree with the quote "The truth has a ring to it". Telling the truth is almost always more convincing than lying. People can sense fakeness on a subconscious level and they know something just isn't right.

The fact that Johnny won't even look at her says a lot, his posture, trying to make himself smaller....that is exactly what other abuse survivors I have seen do in the presence of their abuser. I’ve interviewed and interrogated many people in my career.
At one point in her testimony she said “he pushes me and then he…” as opposed to “he pushed me.” When people recall and tell of an account they do so in the past tense. This lady and her mood swings and facial expressions are all indicators of deception and or psych issues if that’s how she really is as opposed to her breaking character…
It's literally like watching a movie. When Johnny testified I didn't see Johnny Depp,an actor, I actually saw a person talking about his experience. I am sure he isn't perfect, but he seemed genuine, Amber Heard is always acting, always. Something about her....just doesn't sit right with me.

I don't doubt they had a tumultuous relationship, but I believe it was a two way street. She likes to poke the bear. And all of this happened years ago...her detailed, sometimes rambling into specifics makes me wonder exactly what she thinks she is staging. I think the only potential saving grace this woman may have left, to POSSIBLY save her career and any ounce of her reputation that's left, is to admit that she lied/defamed Johnny out of bitterness, or whatever, BEG his forgiveness, admit that she isn't well, check herself into a treatment facility, fall on the mercy of the court, and disappear from the public for a period of time to truly work on herself. I find that if there is a genuine effort to change the world can be quite forgiving. I don't think Johnny wishes her destruction, he just wants his life and reputation back.

My mom is a domestic abuse survivor. My sister and I witnessed our dad beat our mom throughout our early childhood. I even saw my dad throw my mom down the stairs. It’s traumatizing for the victim and witnesses who are children. Child protective services were called 2x on my family because my sister said to her teacher our dad beats our mom and when they came to question my mom, my mom was wearing sunglasses (hiding her bruises) and said she fell because she was clumsy. My mom did that so that we wouldn’t get taken away. And my mom said that the reason she never called the cops on our dad was because she didn’t want us to grow up without a father.
In reality I found out later in my adulthood she put up with the beatings because my dad was making more money and she couldn’t support 5 kids plus a mortgage and utilities etc. all on her own.
Even now that I’m an adult and my mom is in her 60s she’s still traumatized. It’s so bad my mom doesn’t like when couples on the street fight because she’ll get into a panic and start saying “call the cops, that man is beating her”
even our dogs fighting sent my mom into panic mode and she breaths very heavy when the dog fight gets very nasty and cries when one of our dog was crying in pain. For me I grew up fearing men and was scared to be in a romantic relationship because in my head I thought “What if the guy I’m with beats me?”

That's awful. Has she ever tried therapy? A good therapist can really help with PTSD and getting past dark memories.
If she's like my mom, though, she would never do counseling because not many did that in her generation.
I've been through alcoholism, lived with a sociopathic brother in a dysfunctional home, had social phobia and couldn't talk in school for years, made no friends, lived with undiagnosed neurological disorders, endured personality disorders - I've been through a lot. But the abusive marriage I was in for 3 years is the worst thing I've ever been through, and was the only time in my life I think I was really started to lose my mind.
I can't think of a more important subject than abuse, with child abuse being the worst of all. The subject of abuse should be taught about in schools so everyone knows the red flags, dynamics of abuse, what Traumatic Bonding and Stockholm Syndrome mean - things like that.

As a victim of DV this is angering. She has zero right to represent any DV victim or survivor. She is part of the reason that so many are disregarded when they scream for help. She is taking from the victims that live or lived with this daily. You do not run down your abuser by stopping them from leaving, or begging them to stay. As you are afraid that he will do much worse if you interfere with what he/she is intending to do. Let alone attempt to stop them. You fear to leave yourself due to further abuse, or unable to support yourself, or possible death at the hand of the abuser... When they leave you let them.. So you can breath, regroup, and hopefully resolve whatever the abuser had an issue with so that it doesn't create further pain. She deserves nothing including her career. Any soul that would lie in order to come up on actual victims in order to make a name for herself is at the least pathetic
