I always love your What I eat in a day videos! While many other on youtube try, in their videos, to show us the viewers the "perfect day" of their "green/clean" diet you just show what you eat. I get a bit dissapointed when other youtubers say they can't make one right now because their diet aren't that great that time. I want tips for normal food, those cookies, that lunch sandwich. That's what I'm interested in. You start the video of by saying you has squach first thing and that just made me so happy. I'm so sick of the idea of the perfect diet. I want food, sometimes that is good for me, sometimes that's just tasty.
Hi Anna, as Italian I suggest to season your tomatoes in a bowl with oil of olive, (better if it’s extra virgin) with basil, oregano, olives (additional but they add a lot of flavor) salt and pepper, leave them in the fridge for a while and only after that put them on your toast. It makes a huge difference😍 love ya
Anna you are the queen of making ads I want to watch. You always choose products that I am genuinely curious about and you do an incredible job representing the product honestly every time. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate the way you handle the business side of your channel. So impressed.
I have to say I love that you put AD in the title, feels more genuine to me and upfront. I like how you do your sponsored videos, I never feel like you support things that are out of your personality in any way!
Cookie tip for non puffy cookies - halfway through the baking, pick up and kinda slam down the baking sheet on the ovens rack, it makes the cookies release the air and spread a bit, and creates those caramelized ridges around the edges... I do it once in the middle and once right before I take them out 👌🏻
Can I just say how much I LOVE your chatty vlogs! I always pop one on when I'm getting ready to go out or when I'm having my meals and it's like having a friend here with me who's chatting about her life ❤️❤️❤️
Its a Marmande tomato !! I am lucky enough to live half an hour away from Marmande and every year in June or July they have a tomato festival there. Voila ! 🍅 🍅
I am so obsessed with you Anna. Sounds a bit creepy but you inspire me fashion wise (I mean I bought a leopard print shirt) and to be more confident! X
I really want a peek at your cookbook collection. Love love love cookbooks and healthy ones are a bonus. I'm in the US so its always interesting to learn of authors that may not be US based.
Just a little tip for the cookies. After they have been in the oven for about 5 minutes, take them out and bash the baking tray down on a chopping board. This disperses the air out of them which stops them being like cakes. Hope this helps x
I think this explains how you stay so slim and why I'm such a fatty - every time you have food in your videos and say "this is a monster portion" or "we'll have leftovers" i always look at the food amount and think no...no, no, that's a normal/will also need dessert afterwards portion lol
I still love what I eat in a day videos! I'm just nosy and love food! I can't say I'm tempted by hello fresh though, I love a weekly supermarket and butcher shop and creating our own meals, but each to their own!
My flatmates at uni and I spent a year trying to find the perfect cookie recipe and found the Millie's Cookie one to be the best, deffo give it a try!!
I think my favorite cookies are a double chocolate one from a blog called Pinch of Yum. The trick with those is melting the butter and then letting it re-solidify a bit before mixing in. Would reccomend!
That’s loads for two people, which is great as one reason I don’t use these boxes is my love of the days of leftovers from home cooking. Do you find all the meals have monster portions or just some?
What have you done to me Anna... I am changed forever .... because of you... I just can’t only watch your video once... I have to watch it multiple times staring at your stunning videos ❤️❤️ lots of love to you and Mark !!
For the great cookies, Lorraine Pascal’s double chocolate cookie (from Baking Made Easy) are amazing and I add an extra 10g of butter and cook for 8 mins. OMG they are gooey, chewy and crisp all at the same time x
I love your food videos and I actually love your non-beauty favorites! Would love to see more of those. Or maybe a video of your top 10 favorite books of all time! 📚♥️
Try the tasty chocolate chip cookies recipe! they always turn out thin for me when you make them straight away and don't rest the batter in the fridge!
The best way to make chewy chocolate chip cookies is to melt the butter and use 60/40 ratio of brown sugar and white sugar. My personal faves are raw unrefined golden caster sugar and soft brown sugar. You should refrigerate them before baking and give those babies some room to spread out on the baking sheet. 8-12 mins in the oven depending on how crunchy you like them! X
Have you seen the tomato toast recipe from bon appetit? It’s to die for and so garlicky. Basically what you made but instead of cream fraiche they use mayonnaise (if you love mayonnaise like I do it’s a dream).
Hi Anna! I Wore my coat yesterday.... I was the happiest person ever and I thought about you hahaha! And today in Paris is gloomy morning... Lots of love for you ! Have à Nice day :)
Hey Anna! Love your What I eat in a day Videos! And I‘ve spotted your jeans and recognized that they have the perfect colour! Sadly I couldn’t find them in the description box. May you tell where they come from? Lovely greetings from Germany 😘 (This was really hard to write when you have an german Auto correction on 😅🙈)
Ed who won s1 of bake off has a channel called - boy who bakes. He’s just done an amazing cookie series where he tests out lots of recipes and then makes his ultimate recipe as the end. Watch it!!!
I’m obsessed with homemade cookies now too. You should checkout ‘The Boy Who Bakes’ YT videos. He just did videos on chocolate chip cookies recipes and they all look so YUM!
So did anyone else think that Anna's dinner was the Mexican version of beans on toast? :) You should try Lucy Knisley's cookies from her graphic cookbook/biography, Relish-- those cookies have the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. You'll have to do some recipe conversions. Here's a blog review on it with the written recipe: chicgeekery.blogspot.com/2013/07/lucy-knisley-best-chocolate-chip-cookies.html Here's a YT video on it with step by step process as outlined in the book: ruclips.net/video/RlJ_Y6HF8VQ/видео.html and definitely buy Lucy's book-- it has some awesome recipes in it!
In terms of cookies, this is one of my fav chocolate chip cookie recipes (that also happens to be vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar free!): www.feastingonfruit.com/crispy-chocolate-chip-cookies/ It is shocking how indulgent these cookies taste. If you make smaller cookie dough balls with this recipe you will get nice crispy edges and a delicious chewy center. My trick is to add a little bit of extra vanilla extract and sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking ;)
Have you tried the NYTimes Jacques Torres cookies: cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1015819-chocolate-chip-cookies ? The trick seems to be that you have to chill the dough 24-36 hours. It takes patience but its worth it!
Sally’s Baking Addiction seriously has the best cookie recipe ever! This is her basic recipe - sallysbakingaddiction.com/2013/05/13/chewy-chocolate-chunk-cookies/ but all her variations are unbelievable 😍🍪
Anna for the BEST chewy/crispy/deliciousness of a cookie you have to try this recipe from Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall -www.rivercottage.net/recipes/ten-minute-chocolate-chip-cookies They are AMAZING and they only take 10 minutes to make! I can make them so quickly now that I find myself making them all the time which probably isn't a good thing but once you taste them you will be doing the same! Enjoy

I would be so hungry with a tomato sandwich for lunch...when you came back with "I need a snack." I was like OF COURSE YOU DO!
Anna you are the queen of making ads I want to watch. You always choose products that I am genuinely curious about and you do an incredible job representing the product honestly every time. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate the way you handle the business side of your channel. So impressed.

If you like a chewy chocolate chip cookie, my go-to, hands down, all-time favorite is Alton Brown's "The Chewy." Absolutely perfect.
Cookie tip for non puffy cookies - halfway through the baking, pick up and kinda slam down the baking sheet on the ovens rack, it makes the cookies release the air and spread a bit, and creates those caramelized ridges around the edges... If you like chocolate cookies, you need to try Orangette's chewy cocoa cookies, they are amazing!
When you say "downed a cup of squash" is that like a squash smoothie?? Or have you like juiced a squash?
Squash is another name for cordial - concentrated fruit drink you add to water.

My mornings are my most productive as well, so I prefer quick and filling breakfasts as well.

Here in Romania we call those huge tomatoes "ox hearts" 😁
What is a "pint of squash"?
Squash is a fruit-flavoured syrup, pint is a measurement (about 500ml).
I loved this, although most hungriest killed me, superlatives anna! xx
You forgot to drizzle the tomato-bread with greek extra virgin oil (low acidity) ..... for that extra touch !!!!!
Kisses from Athens.
