I bought a GC1723 in April of 2023, I have the loader, backhoe, and belly mower. I bought it mainly to mow grass, I just got tired of beating up Craftsman mowers on the hill I call my backyard, I decided to buy a real tractor. I didn't have the thing two weeks when I was mowing and drove into a mud hole next to my driveway. I ended up pulling it out with my truck. I did the same thing about a month later :)

1725MB means backhoe and wobbly seat.

Nice video. The front loader might have gotten you un-stuck too, by curling it. You do need the MB model if you want the backhoe later. The ROPS is different, the seat may be different, but more importantly is all of the hydraulics and the framework for the backhoe. The additional work on the frame is important.

Yeah, the front loader was my first thought but the curl wasn't enough to get me out. I do love using the backhoe any chance I get so it worked out 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍

Better check to see if you ruined the hydrostat filter and cooler fan. They dont have much clearance over debris. Nice machine. You were able to use hoe much easier than I thot possible.

Next time put your knee in seat and reach over to controls, once pulled back you can reach the loader and put it down to keep from rolling forward. Also knee in seat is much more stable than standing on platform and faster. Watched my uncle do it one day on his kubota realized it was much more stable and didn’t have to climb on and off

Easier to just use the loader bucket and push your way back out.
