Him as a person and character, maybe not so much. Did you understand my point?
Alexander Zverev must BE BANNED indefinitely from ATP Tennis for this. The umpire was in a very vulnerable situation and Zverev exploited it. This man is capable of physical abuse.
How he is even allowed to play tennis on the tour after he abused his girlfriend physically and mentally which made her try and commit suicide on three occasions is just absurd.
I think we all know why he got away with this behavior. He wouldn't feel as though his actions were okay if society didn't cater to him bc of who he is.

This proves his nature, and most likely his domestic abuse allegations seem to be true. This kinda behavior is unacceptable, one of these days he is seriously going to injure an official, they need to enforce stricter punishments by suspending players for these kinda actions. No matter how wrong a call might be, you cannot have physical altercation with anyone after all it is just a sport
Well we can't comment on his domestic situ, I mean let's not have a lynch mob mentality which social media does, but this needs a year ban so he misses all the slams left.
They used this to fuel the fire and try and win the domestic abuse case, but that's like comparing apples and oranges, Zverev is not guilty, absolutely no evidence.
We have all learned a lot from that outburst. I am sure that will impact on the abuse allegations. Let’s hope the ATP sends out a message this is not acceptable.
Appalling behaviour. He needs to be suspended for a year for that. Of course, it’s not the first time tennis players have been abusive to match officials, but this guy takes it to a whole new level. And while the dating violence accusations against him are a separate matter and the evidence in the IPV accusations is not as conclusive as it is in this case, i can say that i believe Sharypova now. Again, not saying that her story is 100% true, but i mean, if he can do this to someone with a certain level of authority in a public setting, what are the chances of him doing it to someone with less power than him? And i hope Brenda Patea reverts to her original plan to forbid him from having any contact with their daughter, as he’s totally unfit to be a parent!!
2 year suspension in my opinion. There should be hard written rules of any player attacking an umpire in his chair should be yearly suspensions. Tennis players are a protective species sometimes.

Tennis: A sport where a player apologizes for hitting ACCIDENTALLY the net with his shot and at the same time behaves to the referee (umpire) like this. And i am not talking only for Zverev. From McEnroe to Novak and almost everyone in between (men and women), players' behaviour towards the umpires is unacceptable. And if we compare it to other, more popular sports, tennis players' behaviour is even more unacceptable. In football, it doesn't matter if you are Messi or Ronaldo, if you speak to the referee the way these guys speak, it's straight yellow card and more often even a red one. I will not even mention what an NBA player will face if he speaks like that to the referees there....
American sports really are the best when it comes to the respect towards the referees and im german. In the US everything gets flagged when it comes to players arguing with the referee and the players accept it.
For something like that he would most likely get fined or suspended. Getting arrested would be like beating up the umpire and make him get serious injuries.

Wonder what the umpires reaction was when he watched the replay
He should go to jail for this, attacking an umpire is completely unacceptable.
Jail ? Where do you live,in Disneyland ?Get fkd
For something like that he would most likely get fined or suspended. Getting arrested would be like beating up the umpire and make him get serious injuries.

And c) as most people know, the law (and seeking justice) is stacked up against women in these cases, which is why there are so many abusers and rapists roaming free.
