I mention CAPTCHA farms briefly, but the idea behind them is pretty straightforward. If a company wants to create an automatic computer program to buy 1,000 tickets to an event or make 1,000 email accounts, they can make a script that fills out the form one at a time, and when the program gets to a CAPTCHA, it will send a picture of it to a CAPTCHA farm where a low-wage worker will solve it and send the answer back to the computer program so that it can be used to finish filling out the form.
The clip of the click farm came from the TV Show, Silicon Valley.

Those captchas are so stupid when you can’t tell if the picture is a store front or a building entrance with graffiti. Also, sometimes the images you click get replaced, and it takes forever for the new ones to come in.

PremiumRanger try wiggling your mouse a little more and scrolling up, pause, and back down as if you are glancing back over something or reading something before you click it. Seems like a bot would just quickly scroll to the captcha and click it and mouse movement would be precise straight line movements most likely. Take it as a complement that you are fooling a robot designed by a multi billion dollar company into thinking you are a robot because you are so precise with your movements and dont want to read the whole page first.
The funny thing is I usually have to enter some sort of info on these websites that use it so there is no mouse moving until I enter that. The pictures are so frequent also that I thought it was normal to get them but I would sometimes get it where recaptcha would just do the check mark.

I have to say that while (re)captchas were doing their job preventing spam bots from doing their thing on the internet - they were a massive pain to solve. Im not dyslexic. Never was and rarely make grammar mistakes (if i want to - this is net speech - back off) but solving captchas was so ridiculous. Once out of five i would get one thats readable without literally studying the image of a distorted password-esque line. Ive had to even watch for capitalized letters in that blurry mess! All twisted and distorted as can be. This wasnt a task for a normal person keeping tabs on time (as they usually do). It was a task for a forensic expert or a spy. Glad they did away with it.
So captcha is like a strainer. Straining bots like rocks and passing people like water.

It is possible converting text in audio, using microphone and other thing created for them.
Using text to speech software. That's why it's important, as a web developer, to use semantic code and follow standards, to help people with disabilities browse the web.
Some sites they CAN'T. The designers for those sites went for all the bells and whistles and totally ignored the ADA web standards.
JavaScript menus, images to click, etc.
Also, to add to Erik's answer, some blind people use a Braille reader that turns screen text into Braille. Watch the movie "Sneakers" for an example.

I'm pretty sure this is false. Yes, chances are probably a bit bigger but it doesn't 100% think you're a robot. You can just be using hotkeys on your computer as well, that doesn't move your cursor either.

Shadyy There are computer programs which read text out from sites, many webpages support their use with alt text for images and more
For blind people it is a bit hard indeed, because they have to rely on text to speech software only. There is a lot of people who are visually impaired who can still somewhat see the page, and especially when combined with T2S software and a bigger font size, using the internet can be viable. The Captcha's are hard to read for regular people though, so they're even harder for people who have some vision loss.
Blind doesn't neccesarily mean pitch black nothing. Its just when everything is very blury and hard to see even if you have glasses.

It will most likely always give it to you on mobile because there is no cursor, and if you are using data, you are constantly changing location to get the best signal, so it can't rely on that. And then if you are on pc, could be a variety of factors.
