Nice step-by-step! I wish I had it when I started lifting by myself years ago. You might have noticed it but just in case: watch out as he's learning the ribs flare as part of the strategy to stiffen his back. It is very visible at 2:26. He's probably locking very hard his lats, and this end up pushing his rib cage forward.
Hey man could you please explain where the brush point in the clean and snatch is and how do i prevnt the bar from hitting my provate area while olympic lifting?😂
I would love a video with tips on improving contact in the clean/power clean. I hardly ever get thigh contact when I clean for whatever reason lol idk why. And when I do try to make contact intentionally it feels like it kills my momentum.
You can also use the cue to curl your knuckles towards you when you’re gripping the bar such that the knuckles are pointing closer to your ankles than they are straight to the floor. This usually does a pretty reliable job of helping people keep the bar in closer contact, and in addition to more thigh brushing, you’ll also likely notice less bar crash onto your rack position-if that’s another problem you’re also experiencing from having the bar get away from you. Hope it helps!
Programming wise, if you wanted to prioritize the full clean and no other lower body lift (using other lower body lifts as accessory), what is the frequency of training cleans/clean variation per week that you might expect to use, and what is the MEV-MRV range you might find for such explosive movements in terms of working sets?
Ayo you working on incorporating thumbnails?

You're the man Will - this is absolutely great.
All trainers need to learn Olympic Lifts. Thankyou Will.

Thumbnail game strong 💪
Love the new thumbnails
I see the edits ✍️🔥
Ive used snapdowns before which work pretty well at teaching someone to squat under the bar after extension.

I found wills cue to “pull (the bar) up your shorts” really helpful

Will i cant drop weight ins my room.. is it still good to do the clean with load i dont have to drop? (Which will be pretty light then)…
If you have been doing deads and squats, then you will pop, you will not replace necessity, not even during oly lifts
I guess you're wanting to improve your outreach with that thumbnail lol
Your life is lol
