@Darth.Shredder but that's not just comics, that's everything...all the people that already had the books are ecstatic as well...I've never been able to buy the amazing books outside of the recent explosions like Deadpool stuff...if one wants the books then there are reprints/facsimile. It's just a really weird take to me as someone who both loves collecting for personal consumption and speculation resale...

I've collected comics since I was a kid in the 1970's because I enjoy it not because something is "hot" or suddenly shoots up in value because a character is in a movie, which then tanks when it flops or the hype cools down. I have NO interest in buying reprints or facsimiles.
@ChrisP58 hot new thing...Red Hulk issues were top 10 for 3 weeks...even Red She Hulk and she's not even in the movie. I think the connections are gonna be huge, the TVA is ramping up full force and people are still kinda sleeping.
So with them introducing Galactus in Fantastic Four one can assume they are going to introduce the Silver Surfer as well. That being said I wonder if Avengers Doomsday will somehow incorporate the old storyline where Doctor Doom steals the Surfers powers.
I'm kind of miffed at the Avengers news. I'd rather it be another actor. Just because I wanted Doom to be in more than just two movies. It just feels soooo rushed and a quick bandaid.
@stormshadowctf the show is amazing, I am on season 4 right now, pit it off but am binging...I absolutely LOVE The Walking Dead, and I know the print runs were kinda low...but The Boys as a show blows it outta the water (and I LOVE THE WALKING DEAD)...haven't read the books yet, maybe TWD is written better...hard to imagine Garth Ennis is that far behind... That said, yea the books seem to be holding steady...I think the market doesn't realize how many people are keeping the books and not flipping them until there is an explosion of interest...odd...

Lol...that would be amazing. T.C. could 100% play doom, just a bit too short, so they would need to do some cgi work to make him fit the physical part. IMO, the dude picked to be The Sentry is the worst casting out of all the marvel shows in the works. The Sentry is a large being, and the physically strongest Marvel hero but the guy they picked is a scrawny douchie looking dude. Although I must say, he's much better than Steven Yeun. Why can't the executives at Marvel find the right people to fill roles anymore? Almost every actor picked to be The original mcu characters are perfect, except maybe Bruce banner/Paul Rudd because he's a bish. I'm not sure about the Adam Warlock actor either, also a small dude who is nothing like the character, although they did pump him up for the movie. They can find buffed actors to play a comic book character, it's not Shakespeare ffs. I'm stoned af and sorry for the tangent, I just had a lot to say, lol
