    This is why I say being approved over 5/24 is not guaranteed. I “might” be able to slip by this since my velocity with credit cards has been rather slow, but I may never know.

    Once they thought I was 5/24, but one card was an AU, and after they took a closer look I got through. Sorry it didn’t work this time, Calby. Thx for sharing your experience. I get nervous calling reconsideration 😅

      Nice!!! Good on you for calling the recon line; I feel like there are still people out there who don't know AU don't count towards 5/24. Eh, it's alright, always next time, haha. Right! It's like you have to explain why you are worthy, lol. Thanks Marcus!

    8/24 here, same thing, reconsidering line said nothing they could do. So I opened a business checking account so I have better odds when I drop back under 5/24.

    • @CalbyNg
      @CalbyNg  4 месяца назад

      Ah, so you're status was 8/24. I've heard conflicting data points on opening a business checking account with Chase, but it's always worth a try!

      @@CalbyNg My denial letter said "insufficient business deposit relationship with us", business structure and number of recent open accounts on credit report. So figured business checking fixes at least one of those things lol.

      @@RITPA Hey that is true, beside the welcome offer for the business account is really nice anyways. I wish you luck on your next application!

      Chase needs to get their information together, haha. This was the number I used: 1-800-242-7338 , if you want to give it a try.

    samrthing happen to me i applied for the ink unlimited got denied because I sign up for 6 cards in the last 24 month and I will be 4/24 in Jan 2025, which is ok around that time Chase might have the 90K offer again that's what i'm waiting for

    • @CalbyNg
      @CalbyNg  4 месяца назад

      Good thinking 👍 90k offer is definitely the way to go, if you can wait. However I am surprised you didn't get any leniency being so close to 5/24.

      You know I’ve tried that once when I was applying for the Freedom Flex a while back; unfortunately it didn’t work. I also called 4-6 times; still nothing.

      Call ur local chase and ask when the business relationship manager is in. Walk into the branch and deposit 20k cash not wire or transfer.....act dumb and ask the business relationship manager about business lines of credit, loans.....credit cards..then apply for it. If denied, the relationship manager can speak on your behalf to the underwriter and get u approved if not, worse case scenario you get the inquiry removed since its not tied to anything, call the bureau and tell them the car dealership ship pulled your credit without telling you lol

      Hasn’t Wells been quite selective? I’ve seen a lot of people on Reddit getting rejected with decent data points.

      @@AP_808 Honestly, the video hasn't come out, but I'll let you guys know; I was rejected for the Wells Fargo Autograph. I didn't know at the time time, but Wells Fargo is very inquiry sensitive.

    hi, does paying taxes on award flights trigger the $300 travel credit on the CSR? thanks

    • @CalbyNg
      @CalbyNg  4 месяца назад +1

      It should because taxes and fees still codes as the airlines, like Delta; therefore, should trigger the $300 travel credit on the CSR.
