Gigi has the most beautiful tone here on RUclips. Not to mention her goddess look. Can not get enough her. Please do more reaction to her and the band. She is after all one of 3 Queens of the Philippines and my favorite artist today. Please do "Better Days" next. Gigi is a rock chick and who OWNS the 80s but also a versatile Queen. She can blend into any genres.
Makes me teary-eyed every time I listen to this cover. She is an expert at improvisation due to her being very comfortable with her wide vocal range. She also has mastery in performing in front of a camera and I find her endearing. The Vibes (her band) also is tight with every performance, and they all work well to always deliver a stellar show. After your first reaction to these artists a few months ago, it was the second time for me to come into contact with them.
Here is my opinion about this music video:
The singer (Gigi de Lana) has a nice voice and can sing really well. She sings technically cleanly, but somehow I'm missing something special and unique. I immediately listened to the original video and watched it again without any distractions. And I have to say that the song/singing doesn't really reach me on an emotional level either. Unfortunately.
Because that's exactly what I always hope for when I watch and listen to a music video that's new to me.
When I listen to my inner self and ask myself if I want to hear (watch) this video again, the answer is no.
Maybe it will be different with another song/video from this singer and these artists.
That's my opinion on it.
I know tastes are different.

She actually changed the song a bit & gave it an 80s feel. I dont particularly like the original. More Gigi please, ALL I ASK (Adele) & BUTTERFLY (Mariah). She can do different genres, check out her GIVE LOVE ON CHRISTMAS DAY which is jazzy, and DECODE (Paramore). Thanks Petra.
