I just purchased this exact watch, fell in love with it on sight, I’m very impatient so I had to overnight it lol. Will be here tomorrow & I can’t wait
I had the black dial version of this same model. Great looking watch, this model deserves more attention than it gets imo. People talk a lot about Oris, Longines, Seiko divers and other brands in the same price range (I’ve owned them all) but this one takes the win. That being said, I wouldn’t pay retail, definitely look for it on the second hand market at a big discount. Sold mine only to get the Speedmaster but miss it.
I agree with you, it does, deserve more recognition and it’s just a step above the brands that you’ve mentioned in their respective price ranges. It’s a brilliant watch and i’m happy to have paid retail for it. :) and you’ve definitely sold it for the right reason. 👊
@@filipzugec8346 arent they? The Aquis, Longines Legend Diver and several Seiko diver can be found at a vet similar price to this generation of Aquaracer.
Really enjoyed the video. You have a wrist like mine. 6,5" with dark hair. 😁 Looking forward to see more videos with wrist watch images to see how it would look in my wrist! About this model, I think I'm going to choose the one with ceramic bezel, because this one looks a lot with the Maurice Lacroix Aikon that I own.
I bought one a year ago. Looks lovely but I hardly ever wear it. Too heavy. The crown digs into the back of my wrist. Clasp mechanism is clumsy, with those silly lugs sticking out. Looked and felt great in the shop, and feels a quality watch, but for me it doesn’t wear well. 😞
Sorry to hear about that, i love mine and i do agree on the points that you mentioned but i love mine more ‘cause i’ve always wanted one when I couldn’t afford it and i guess that has some sentimental value esp when wearing it.
How much does it weigh? Does the weight bother you? I have a close to 7inch wrist with a protruding wrist bone when tend to be a resting place while the hand is dangling on the side. And it hurts when the watch is heavy. Thanks.
It’s only 154 gms, which doesn’t bother me at all. And i think in your case, having the bracelet adjusted properly addresses your “protruding bone” issue.
I think it would be ok for a 6” wrist, but if you are really bothered by it then try the 36mm version. But in saying that, i have a 44mm watch on my 6.5 inch wrist and i guess you can say that’s the same situation that you’re in with a 40mm watch and 6” wrist. And i still wear my 44mm watch all the time.
@@gullie9004 Unfortunately I really don’t vibe with the colourways of the 36mm version, I love the blue and yellow of this one which is why I would be willing to go a bit larger than I usually do!
@@Paspa1801 go for it, you can pull it off ‘cause it has a short lug-lug case (47) same as most 36mm watches. And that’s really the real factor when considering the size.
Hey, Orit. I would if i get the chance. But from what i see, it’s the same movement but different design. New one has a different dial, bracelet, clasp and 1 mm smaller than the one i have. I’d think it would wear better due to the smaller size. However, this 1 still looks better though . :) if i drop by the AD i’ll take a quick clips of the new one for you. 👊
Tag is like longines. They make a lot of shitty ugly ass watches but then they make really good pieces at decent prices like the aquaracer, the gmts and the autavia chronographs.

Tag heuer is my favorite brand. And i did a whole 360 in my watch journey.

It does, look like the Aikon! Never seen that before. :) thanks for mentioning it. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Not sure if you or anyone will even see this comment, but might as well ask:
What is the model number for the ceramic bezel variant?
Great Tag for sure. Had the white one.
Thanks! White is a beauty as well, it just looks a bit big ‘cause of the dial but, still a nice one. 😊
It's a classic. I have a suuuuper beat up Calibre S that I'm supposed to send to Tag Heuer to see about refurbishing.
Ah, save it! :) have it refurbished. I think it’s worth it.
