This along with your other new road plate integration videos have made me appreciate the new system so much more. TBH, I prefer these over the previous baseplates, but the original early 80s road plates are by far my favorite just for the narrow width and color. To join the new road system to the old, I created a modular portico modeled on the Grand Emporium to hide the transition.

Awesome work man, this is beautiful!! I love how you figured out how to incorporate those slope pieces as a useful building piece. No more wasted parts. Good stuff !

This looks fantastic, thanks for the tutorial! It's good to see those ramp pieces put to good use, as everyone investing in this new system will have a load of them left over.

Great video. I'm going to incorporate this when I get my train all set up. With the amount of pieces I really don't see why lego doesn't just sell these. For 15-20$ people would definitely buy this ready made.

This is awesome man. I didn't know that was possible, But I am glad that I do now. I would probably raise the tracks by one plate so the railroad crossing has a little more height. but I really like what you have done.
