very nice
Jesus! How many times can a person say "um..." in one video....
Jesus probably knows, but I guess he's not answering.
Very helpful tutorial - thanks very much 👍
5/10
They look good! How did you cut those dollar store baseplates down to 22 studs?
I was having a quick go over the manual on how LEGO had intended it, but it's not mentions and yes, that little hump made it obvious, that it was prepared for power functions. Thanks for the video.
this video is so underated
saw robin hood bricks vid but didnt want to use too many bricks to raise my modulars, but this works well, will be setting up using this in a few weeks :)
I like your method. Thx.
What's been going on with you lately? I miss the updates! I really like your city!
So you need the receiver and remote for the train to work??? I just want my train to run straight without adjusting speed. Can I just use the train motor and hub?? (Talking about old power functions system)
You still need to adjust between no speed and the desired speed. This can be achieved with the rechargable battery box, that has a speed regulator in the box, but not with the regular battery box, AFAIK.
when is the new video? :)
Thanks, your method works very well and the result is great 😃
This is just a suggestion but I think you should move the trees that are next to the track and just spread them out because they look all cramped together in that single . space
Missing all your videos! Hope you’re doing okay
Can I now Will the meresk train work whit powerd up
yes but you don’t need the receiver, so assembly is slightly different
@@sirhamalot110 thanks for letting me now
How about just a flat white 1x4 piece instead of that raised crosswalk? That would make the crosswalk go slightly in to the curb
Man why you stopped posting? Great city, very inspiring!
why you didn't post for so long? Great city, great location xd <3
this is awesome! how to build that rail crossing?
These bumpy road ramps comes with the new 60304 lego set. It's 3 of them. So if i buy 2 of them i got 6 of them.😃
Nice
Thanks for the vid. I’m surprised LEGO makes it this complex.
The park fencing along the track loop is a nice touch. So many real-world things are often overlooked in LEGO Cities.
Thanks. My goal is to try to add as many real world details as I can!
The park is looking great. Awesome work. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Good progress. Looking forward to future updates
Really should've ordered this
It's all going swimmingly! I can't wait to see the next update. You might look into minimizing the number of roads in the city, maybe introduce some pedestrian areas and small city parks.
Looking Lush Cracking City Update 😀👍
Thanks for the comment!
this looks great, but may cause issues due to how many studs wide the crossing is
The roof heights of the corner garage, detective's office, and downtown diner look really good together!
Thanks!

Very awesome! What a cool set!!!
Thanks!
I love this. Different from what I’ve seen. I liked and subscribed 👌🏾
Thanks for sharing this. Love how the road takes up less room.
Thanks for the comment! Yes I really enjoy this road because it definitely takes up less space which helps to add more building in the city
I like this but you should put 1x2 technic bricks in all the corner to lock the roads together.
Your system is the not expensive compered to other miles plates so I find it good
Thanks! Yeah cost was a big factor I had to analyze when deciding to use the bills plate system
I would say that you have PROVED the “Can I build a LEGO City under my bed?” proof-of-concept - it is looking uniquely great! 😀 I did not focus on a “LEGO City” per se in my Hobby Room (shared with my robot and drone collections), but rather more of a “LEGO World” with a collection of cool LEGO scenes, including trains that ride around higher up on the walls! 😀 Here you can see my lighted NYC subway MOC jetting around the track at night! ruclips.net/video/bzpbrHeh6vk/видео.html
It's both hilarious and ingenious to build a Lego city under a grown man's bed. It's like a big toy box that can be simultaneously taken out to be played with and put away when finished. Kudo's to you on saving space. :) It's a like, "What secrets are you hiding under there?" "Oh, just some innocent youthful Lego toys." <3 Lol, I just realized how apropos it is considering your channel's name is "Bricks Below". XD
palace cinema wont fit there for sure.
NIce City
Good to see the city again
This makes me so happy.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the content!
You could probably have an extra line of track in the back, since it's a little difficult to see all the way to the back and would have the effect of bringing the Assembly Square forward slightly and thus more easily viewable.
I will have to try and see if that works!
I think it's a good idea to use less train rails. A train track really takes up a lot of space. It's beautiful, but it greatly limits your options. It is certainly a brave decision.
Thanks, I may just end up putting different trains throughout the year just to change things up
@Bricksie
I came up with my own three plate thick base plate alternative for my little mini city, I've gotten rid of all standard baseplates as I don't want to put the road plates on top of a baseplate. At the moment the road plates need to be raised by one plate with my current system with an eventual plan to lower the road for a two plate high kerb. I want to keep the slimness of the new roadplates for both size and style reasons.
Nice City
Nice update! I'm glad you want to use the MILS system. I myself use it too. Have you ever heard of the L-gauge system? It mainly works with train rails and it can be combined with the MILS system. It's a beautiful system, but it's also very expensive, because you need a lot of extra bricks. But look it up. You might see something you want to use in your revamped city.
Pretty sweet! Just subscribed!
