    I was having a quick go over the manual on how LEGO had intended it, but it's not mentions and yes, that little hump made it obvious, that it was prepared for power functions. Thanks for the video.

    So you need the receiver and remote for the train to work??? I just want my train to run straight without adjusting speed. Can I just use the train motor and hub?? (Talking about old power functions system)

    • @BricksWorks
      @BricksWorks Год назад

      You still need to adjust between no speed and the desired speed. This can be achieved with the rechargable battery box, that has a speed regulator in the box, but not with the regular battery box, AFAIK.

    This is just a suggestion but I think you should move the trees that are next to the track and just spread them out because they look all cramped together in that single . space

    I would say that you have PROVED the “Can I build a LEGO City under my bed?” proof-of-concept - it is looking uniquely great! 😀 I did not focus on a “LEGO City” per se in my Hobby Room (shared with my robot and drone collections), but rather more of a “LEGO World” with a collection of cool LEGO scenes, including trains that ride around higher up on the walls! 😀 Here you can see my lighted NYC subway MOC jetting around the track at night! ruclips.net/video/bzpbrHeh6vk/видео.html

    It's both hilarious and ingenious to build a Lego city under a grown man's bed. It's like a big toy box that can be simultaneously taken out to be played with and put away when finished. Kudo's to you on saving space. :) It's a like, "What secrets are you hiding under there?" "Oh, just some innocent youthful Lego toys." <3 Lol, I just realized how apropos it is considering your channel's name is "Bricks Below". XD

    You could probably have an extra line of track in the back, since it's a little difficult to see all the way to the back and would have the effect of bringing the Assembly Square forward slightly and thus more easily viewable.

    I think it's a good idea to use less train rails. A train track really takes up a lot of space. It's beautiful, but it greatly limits your options. It is certainly a brave decision.

    I came up with my own three plate thick base plate alternative for my little mini city, I've gotten rid of all standard baseplates as I don't want to put the road plates on top of a baseplate. At the moment the road plates need to be raised by one plate with my current system with an eventual plan to lower the road for a two plate high kerb. I want to keep the slimness of the new roadplates for both size and style reasons.

    Nice update! I'm glad you want to use the MILS system. I myself use it too. Have you ever heard of the L-gauge system? It mainly works with train rails and it can be combined with the MILS system. It's a beautiful system, but it's also very expensive, because you need a lot of extra bricks. But look it up. You might see something you want to use in your revamped city.
