When you're feeling fit and riding at a World Cup pace, there's no better place to ride than Whistler. Step beyond Bernard Kerr's LSD's for a week at Crankworx Whistler.
I hope Bernard gets at least 1 world cup win next season. No one would be more deserving than him, for what he does for Pivot, and mtb in general. The guy is a legend of the sport, and always has such a positive outlook on mtb and life in general. A lot of people should strive to be more like him and the world would be a better place.
Had the pleasure of meeting and ridin with him in Bentonville this year. One of the nicest, most down to earth people ever. Wish him nothin but the best!
The first time I saw Bernard on RUclips he was with Sam Pilgrim, Olly Wilkins, Brendan Fairclough etc doing jumps with a plank full of nails they had to get over to see who could go furtherest.. He was all yak yak yak & quite cocky. I thought who is this mouthy young guy ? Didn't really like him at all. But after giving him a 2nd chance I realise that is just his enthusiastic personality, how clever he is, how good he is, how much he does for Pivot, how much he does for Pivot DH team and now watch every RUclips clip he puts up. Also subscribed to team Pivot, Jenna Hastings, Eddie Masters, Matt Walker for whatever reason 😜 Cheers from NZ
brings back great memories I think I had my best day ever at whistler in 2007 - out in the bike park all day followed by a night on the town ending up in the hot tub/wooded balcony of a sick house with some nice ladies. Would love to go back but I messed it all up by getting married and having kids.
Do you actually regret it? I'm trying to work out whether it's the right thing to do for me and i can imagine I'll be thinking the same thing in the future
@@rowanationer my kids are my best and only friends, I do not regret them no - I was lonely and depressed before, kids give a person a reason. But I would not do it again in the UK since the law incentivised the women to break up the family and steal the mans house, if I did it again it would need to be outside the UK where the law is fair and where culturally the women are happier in a more traditional home making role. Thanks and good luck, there is no right or wrong answer - if you stay single you will have to work just as hard to not be sad, lonely and pointless.

And that is why I love Bernard, as a rider and for everything he does for this sport. That also resume why I love mountain biking.

What bike was he using for slalom?
Firebird!

@@robjonson629 yeah I'm coming to this conclusion about pointless. Appreciate your honesty. i'd also prefer that different culture
dual is gash btw, it was OK when it was Lopes and Palmer etc but today it just looks lame - 4x was better.
