I love how these criminals get a court appointed lawyer and they are not happy with them. I get it some times they just don't work out. But to complain about the representation for them. This guy was so out of it.
Several years ago there was a huge scandal involving coerced Plea Bargains where DA's would threaten huge jail time if the Plea was rejected by the defendant. This scandal appeared to be a systemic issue with examples seen coast to coast. As a result, they now (as anyone who watches these court cases can confirm) go through every part AND make sure the defendants know what is happening, the consequences for taking a plea, confirmation that no plea was coerced, etc. In some cases, especially if there is a lack of intelligence, education deficits, cognitive damage from drug abuse, there is a possibility that the defendant may not fully understand. But none of this applies to the 2nd case as he is articulate. Thus, its just buyers remorse.
The first guy: Why is he playing like such a sad sack? I can see if it this was his first time in court but it's not. He didn't even take his first parole seriously
(First case). He's the poster child for the TV PSA "This is your mind on drugs." He is fried and beyond repair. He is why we have a prison-industrial complex. If anyone is wondering what a good defense attorney is capable of, pay attention to the first case. He saved his client a minimum of 15 years on the habitual enhancement, and probably more what with those other cases.
When your defense attorney has Loretta Lynn hair and is chewing gum, you're in trouble.

I agree. There is none
There isn't one. Incel titling
It’s here in my house, watching the big hair woman’s repulsive gum chewing.
It was at my house when I saw the gum chewing attorney.
Unsubbed
There ought to be a law!! Habitual offender SHOULD NOT be able to be overridden!! It should be MANDATORY!! I DONT CARE WHO UR LAWYER IS!!
These criminals all of a sudden become Great Actors when the judge starts to lay down the law, all they hear is ACTION!!!!!!!!
That's the God's honest truth.... not! That woman council always chews gum in court.
That pitiful look is hilarious 😩
I love watching this judge. She is very intelligent, gets right to the point, and doesn't put up with any sass
I am very impressed with your professionalism, our country could use many more judges of your caliber. Keep up the great job!
My guess,,,that gum chewing is to cover up her alcohol breath
The defense attorney for the second defendant, she's Suzanne Kramer, one of the best criminal lawyers in Texas. As the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover.
Seriously. Counselor #3 looks like a strip mall attorney.
What a Great Judge!
I'm not satisfied with the way I'm being represented...
Off the record...back on the record...
Are you satisfied with the way you've been represented...
Mmm...yes...
Yeah...he can represent himself... sure...🙄
Taking a plea for 10 years of your life isn't easy. This moron had to be reminded that his options were 10 or 25. Not 10 or 0.
T drives me CRAZY to see an attorney chewing gum in court ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE
She makes so much sense that’s the truth and people can’t see it, only the older generation sees it. She’s great
I see younger people praising her too. A lot really, loads of people. I don't blame them😊.
She's a no nonsense judge. I love her! ❤
I just love this judge. ❤❤❤
She is a no nonsense judge who has integrity and a deep care for humanity and community as a hole. I could watch her all day and never get tired of her way to work the bench.
Did anyone else see him roll his eyes upward. Omg
I love how these criminals get a court appointed lawyer and they are not happy with them. I get it some times they just don't work out. But to complain about the representation for them. This guy was so out of it.
So the state thinks he harmed a child and they wave the habitual offender? That seem reasonable to people? Am I missing something?
I LOVE Judge Boyd's different bags!!!! I'm SO jelly❤😂❤😂❤😂
I wish she would do a drawing for the purse. She usually has great taste in purses.
In an interview she said her mom buys them for her. ❤
Wish someone would present me with Dooneys.
Got to love Judge Boyd
As a former Gyn, yes, people do tell you exactly how to do their surgery. It is much more common than you would think. 😂
These are the worst looking set of lawyers I've seen.
Probably tired of defending all the slugs of society.
I'm just here for the purse & flowers ☺️
👜💐
Amen
❤
Judge Boyd, the stepmom we all need.
Council chewing gum in front of the judge!? Such a professional.
I love this Judge!!!!!
The first guy: Why is he playing like such a sad sack? I can see if it this was his first time in court but it's not. He didn't even take his first parole seriously
So, the words "explosion emotion" were just put in the title randomly as if a crazy person typed it?
Yall catch how the bailiff got into position behind homeboy? 😂
Everything is bigger in Texas. He hair is proof of that.
