I like the Q90. The NXHope firmware allows settings to be adjusted and Sonic runs well in the stock MD emulator (unlike a lot of budget handhelds where the MD sound is all jittery). The menus are a bit boring but I hope they bring out a 4.3 inch or 5 inch handheld with NXHope. That would be awesome.
I'll stick with my LDK.

This thing is way worse than the LDK. It's essentially the first generation Pocket Go with a bad motherboard and the screen tearing is relatively the same like the first generation. I guess there could be firmware fixes but the price of this device is totally not worth it.
the truth is, if you buy it in mainland China, it just cost you less than 25 dollar.
I like my Q90, can pick them up for twenty something pounds.
Stereo speakers and even a rumble function when playing Contra on the PS1 emulator.
Have noticed that SNES games running a bit slower than original, and I live in a Pal region.
Mega drive games all seam to play well although you will have to remap buttons for this, at least the option to remap is there.
For me, I did catch the power button whilst playing street fighter 2, which is a bummer when you're up to the bosses.....
Good little device and I'm even toying with the Idea of a spare one for traveling.

This thing cannot even emulate gameboy correctly. Do not buy.
Can you please add a little text box to the top corner of the screen saying which system you are trying? Obviously we cant know all games, so sometimes it's not clear which system you're using. I wasn't sure if the Capcom game was on PS1 or Dreamcast.
I have the Q90, and the color's exactly like the one in this video. Glad it met my expectations as a good device to emulate some GBA and GBC games. PS1 emulation isn't really good for this device though, but I don't mind since I intended to use the Q90 for Gameboy stuff anyway. But from my experience Q90 can run Star Ocean 2 pretty well (save for the world map sometimes) using CFW and the modified PS1 emu and config files. Overall pretty happy with the Q90 since I basically can play Star Ocean 2 AND its sequel Blue Sphere in the same device.
Upgrade for rgb10 or ambernic rg351 line

I think you need to demo more PS1 games in your reviews, I watch a lot of your videos and always a let down when you skip PS1

Between this, the V90, and the X6, which one would you recommend? I'm looking at around $25 pricepoint and these are the more accessible choices for me here in South East Asia.
Eh I don't know what the x6 is but i think the v90 has more gamee

i subscribed cuz I love games and wicked stuff, this device looks kool I love the transparent case, i hope that Nokia battery won't mess up, they tend to "inflate" themselves over time, happened to me once on my old Nokias phones, neat review loved it

You would most likely have to transfer the roms to the game file on the device

I love the cheap ones. Just picked this one up for $26 on Aliexpress. You do the very best reviews on the budget handhelds. Just about everyone else is expecting too much. You just appreciate them for what they are and what they can do. Kind of like people. That's some deep shit ❤

@bigdank7789 from the cheap ones I've got the V90, Q90, RGB20, and Q20. That Q20 is probably my favorite. I've got Smurf hands so it works for me. I can see how it wouldn't work too well for anyone with bigger hands though. The screen on it is ridiculous good. $28 on Aliexpress. Got the funky ass orange one with white buttons. Got a real late 70s early 80s vibe. I've got a ton more of the higher priced Anbernics too. Feel like the cheap ones are easier to replace if something happens to them. Because of that they're the ones I have with me and use more. I like to carry around a RG280V at work. It's probably still my favorite after a few years, along with that Q20.
Is there one that sticks out as your favorite?

@bigdank7789 yeah if you do pick one up, it'll need the custom firmware in it. Good thing is if you already own a V90 or Q90 and installed firmware in either, you can just yank the card out of either one and stick it in the Q20. Pretty sweet
@@2nd_rate_art I didn’t see your question at the end sorry, actually yes out of all devices the V90 being nearly 1 for 1 with the gba sp hads got to be my favorite, I recently purchased it and it is on the way from China. I got the all black model 64gb for 28$ which is great, and for Xmas I received the Miyoo mini v4 and man I love it. I have the Miyoo mini v4, and the rg35xx when it was brand new last year , I also got the sc2000 for my bday in October so I do have fun with that and I also find myself taking my cheaper devices with me and using those more frequently when it comes to going on long trips or packing my bag with something entertaining. I love the Miyoo so much it’s the reason I got the rg35xx last year. Unfortunately for me the mini was out of stock every time it got restocked so until now the mini has only been a dream and I can honestly say it’s the perfect little size for my hands and I have about average sized hands nothing crazy. I personally see myself using the v90 when it arrived later this week due to the fact that it is my all time favorite childhood form factor. I CANT WAIT FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE MIYOO FLIP that one will burn a hole through my pocket the day of pre order!!

Even this device is garbage. I dont know why people are saying its good. It is crap. Gameboy and nes are glitched to hell. Everything else stutters. The sound is horrid.

I think the Powkiddy Q90 would be worth it if they hadn't used the same CPU as the Pocket Go V1. I've had my Pocket Go for awhile, and I don't think the All Winner chip is that great. The LDK Landscape at least utilizes the same JZ4760 chip from the old Pap KIII and RS-97.
