I've since picked up an Odroid Go Advance Black Edition. The build quality might be slightly lower, but I'm running ps1 and SNES flawlessly. Most mame and some N64 I've tried are working great as well
The problem isn't the specs, it's the software. PocketSNES is crap. There are those in the community that are trying to improve the emulators for these devices. Right now they try to make snes9x2005 for them. Nobody will try to improve PocketSNES, because it's a mess. SNES won't run good on these until they have a good emulator for it. This device has better specs than the PSP but run things the same or worse, because the PSP has real good emulators.
In fact, it is a PocketGo with a Switch Lite case. PocketGo's firmware can be used on this unit without any problem. Suggestion to choose between PocketGo and PowKiddy Q90: 1. If you prefer the Switch lite or you promise your kid to buy a Switch lite but without enough money, try Q90. 2. If you prefer the GameBoy or Nostalgia, PocketGo is your best choice. 3. PocketGo is also available on Amazon too. You will get it in hand once place the order there.

@w1ren314i don't think so, the screen tearing is very perceptible for me when i play nes/arcade games, but it's not a biggest problem at all, is just noticeable though.
They work, but I don't recall seeing them on the screens where you can change which button does what. They tend to act like ESC keys to quit the emulators while they are running, rather than controller buttons for the games. I hope that helps.
Cool little handheld device and a great video. If I had to guess they probably went with SNES9x 2005, which is perfect for YsIV & V, Seiken Densetsu 3 as well as most fan translated SFC games. But not ideal for a big chunk of the North American library. Seems like their choice for NGP, WS and PCE was not Mednafen, which would of been great emulation.
@@8-Bit_Flashback There doesn't seem to be a lot of variety when it comes to PS1 emulators. PCSX is more than likely what they used. But their choice for most everything else surprises me. Of course Genesis Plus GX for GG, MD, MS and those did and will run great. But gpSP over mGBA... Seems like they didn't include any Mednafen emulators. I am sure it's probably the lack of RetroArch and not having permission to use/sell certain programs.

The RG350 runs SNES perfectly. It runs most all PS1 games at 60fps too.

Altered Beast looked pretty rough for fps. I have never played the SMS but I am guessing the issue lies with the SMS ROM and not the Q90 itself.
The issue lies with the original game developer it sucks even on original hardware it is just terrible
