Loved the mirror you looked at in the first shop, and the reflection in it???? Priceless ❗️That leather armchair was gorgeous ❣️ The woodwork on it is beautiful! Great raincoat!!
Hi Dawn🙂 I have to plan, but I would love to have the option to go more often and more spur of the moment. My life just won't allow for that. I have found great things over the years though, so I can't complain too much. Take Care.
Thank you for taking us along on your experiment! This is how I have to shop for everything for the most part now that I am a mother. I take an hour lunch from work and cram as many stores as I can in that time frame. I do plan to go out on occasion, but it's much easier for me to do it without the baby or without having to have someone keep him for a few hours!
4 weeks post total knee replacement surgery I was out thrifting and doing enormous damage to my bank balance 😂 then I get home and don’t have the energy to list anything. Big thank you Dawn you sustained me with your video’s while I as laid up in hospital 💕
You know I love all of your videos, I hope you are feeling better and back to yourself! I have been so busy last week so I am looking forward to this & the Wednesday and Friday shows! This is fun, the variety of places, love the embroidered peacock!
Usually just stop where I would think is a good shop to go to and only started collecting jewelry at stores within the past year. Have been interested in vintage and have been on road a lot when working and also have started to help my parents as well to start selling off their vintage items. Also may be starting E bay store, maybe?? 🤞
I plan out some sourcing trips, like the one I will do tomorrow. I also am open to shorter thrifting or yard sales that I encounter randomly while going about my every day business. I don't go to thrift shops very often, because I spend too much each time, and don't list fast enough. I literally have hundreds of pieces of costume jewelry that I need to list. It would be different if we had more thrift shops in my area. I am slowly getting pickier, and do not just stick to vintage. Lucite bangle bracelets are my bread and butter. I have a couple hundred of them. I love lucite and bakelite so much!
I love how you’re experimenting with how you go out to source. Glad it was a fruitful experiment😊 That Roseville pedestal with urn was beautiful (and looks like something Danni might pick up). Love that gold link chain, and you’re right, they don’t make them like that anymore.
OMG I have always loved vintage jewelry, but I have so far watched 5 of your videos and have learned more from you in this time than in the last 20 years!!!! And the timing is perfect! I was so lucky recently to buy what for me was a significant amount of treasures. Before watching your videos I would have missed so much. One bracelet in particular Alexis Bittar, it is absolutely fabulous! haven't been able to it anywhere is there a way I could show your a photo? Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Sadly we don’t have thrift stores like this anymore. Absolutely no church or charity stores. 😭 We do have antique/ artsy booth stores and consignment shops which are a touch more expensive. Today I went to one and saw an eerily similar tassel chain that caught my eye. I didn’t have my loupe but it was signed. It was $20 and I left it. If it’s there the next time I will take a closer look. 🤓
I hate leather furniture because when it’s hot you’re skin sticks to it and in the winter 🥶 you are cold on it I like real wood Victorian furniture queen Ann style and the videos are better the more stores you see because it gives you more options to buy more opportunities more shopping options the better 😊❤😂🎉😮😅😊
Looks like 15 - 20 minutes is enough time to know that there is not much of interest. I suspect that it takes longer when you hit a good store. I know it does do me.
My video fave of the week!! ☀️💚 Thank you for reigniting my passion for the vintage!
The worn leather chair is magnificent!
That framed Peacock is amazing
Agree!
As often as I can, b/c new stuff is always being put out at the thrifts I go to..😉
I think you're smart to steer clear of dolls, I always think that they are creepy and haunted. Great finds. Enjoyed your shopping adventure.
Thank you 🤗
I go as often as I can. Sometimes I get a feeling I am going to find something great and I do.
Me too!

Roseville Donatello jard and pedestal 65.00?? Where is that?
What ever happened to the fetish necklace? I have been waiting for it to come up for sale🥰
Hello! I am saving it for holiday because so many people ask!

Great finds Dawn! Question...what does RLM stand for on the earrings? Is that the brand?
One of my favorites! Robert Lee Morris
What loupe are you using? You see marks/ brands so effortlessly, and I am always struggling…
On eBay they sell loupes that are stronger magnification. I bought one that is 30X magnification.
Awesome!
@@HUDSONVINTAGE I have a loupe from eBay, and it is too small… I was wondering if you could share the brand of yours…
😊🥰
