Oh wow, another at the 50 minute mark, the glistening gold and purple and all colors necklace! I have that! In a two strand necklace. Thot it was junk costume jewelry. I have it hanging off the finiel of a lamp shade hanging down the lamp shade so when it's on it sparkles. Can't wait for your auction to see if you identify what it is!

“Rusty the reseller” says the real ones are set not to touch, as rubbing together would ruin real pearls. So there would be a knot or bead in between.

I have been watching a few of these and tried to feel some jewellry in my local thrift shop. I cant do it, maybe I am using the wrong hand, its got to be the left hand. Anyway read that someone had found a Constable sketch in a terrace house in Guernsey, sold for £200k to anonymous buyer in Guernsey. So the painting is staying in U.K. What a find.

Jewel net. I used to have a habitat for humanity store near me but they closed do to an apartment complex being built. I loved that store. But they didn’t have jewelry. I need to find another one near by

Jewel nut newbie! Will you or have you shared the machine you use to determine what something is? Such as real diamond or pearl or stone etc. TIA.
I use a diamond tester, a presidium gemstone tester, a UV light, Acid test for metal, 409 for bakelite, a few other things for specific organic stones, and a jeweler!
Now I have to learn the name of the stones by sight.
That would be a Manatee on the piece of wood burl. Fun pieces
