This is so scary becase i had a lot of these realisations a while ago, now seeing this is such a shock for me. @@Ohkeh640 not all Moon Scorpio will conjuct Pluto in Scorpio. The maxium orb for conjuction is up to 10 degree. If someone has Moon in Scorpio 3 degree, then Pluto in Scorpio at 28 degree, it only function as Scorpio Moon, not Plutonian. Plutonian are different from Scorpio.
Wanted to share my personal experience to help people have a better understanding of this aspect. I have my moon in exact conjunction with pluto in scorpio in the 8th. I have an Aries heavy chart (rising, venus, mars and mercury) with a pisces sun. This moon conj. pluto is what I relate the most in my chart. I feel like it is a very very powerfull tool that can do as much harm as it can do good. Learning to live with it required ressources, energy, a lot of endurance (without all that aries energy, I honestly don't think I would have made it to 20). I am what some people call an empath. I feel like I can understand the emotional true core of people as well as their motivations so easily but it's not always as great as it sounds. Right now I'm in my thirthies and I am discovering a lot about this key part of myself. I act like a sponge and take on other people emotions. Sometimes, I don't really know if what I feel is from me or not. I guess I am lucky to have the true compassionate side of my pisces sun combined with the brave, assertive, and always positive side of my aries part. Seeing how deep and strong I live my emotions (or other people emotions, even if they are fictional characters) I can easily understand how hard it might be for people with this placement and no positive/fire energy to help them. I see this like an incredible tool to understand and help people to grow, to heal and to realize their incredible and beautiful potential. I feel like a beacon with the possibility to radiate so much love around me that it can change things. I think people with this placement have great power in hands but also great responsabilities.

17:22 is incredibly profound. There's been this MASSIVE emphasis in my life on "healing" from trauma and negative experiences and difficulty. My thoughts have been obsessive and compulsive around the nature of my existence, and it's difficult for me to feel cared for by myself or anyone else, especially around family. It makes so much sense hearing it this way. I hadn't even considered NOT putting the emphasis on healing rather than living. I've been so obsessed with needing to be right about my family being unhealthy for me or uncaring or difficult that I often shut them out and disregard my own needs and how they contribute to satisfying them, among other things. I've been so detached from loving and living because I've been so obsessed with the pain and the survivalistic mentality I've carried from a young age. I'm only 20, and I know I have plenty of time to really come into a positive place and understanding about the truth, and my truth, but this makes a great deal of sense and I feel that it'll be incredibly helpful. As a child, I never wanted pain but I always felt this deep unexplainable emotional pain. I thought I was just a sad child. I have my Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in the 10th house and its been extremely difficult to be in relationships that don’t feed the depths of my emotional satisfaction. For the longest time I felt myself needing the kind of love and intimacy that would make me come alive in a new way. The desire to be accepted and understood for my darkness and the pain I’ve endured has become my biggest desire in intimate relationships. And like wise, my desire to have my partner open up to me in the same way is all I ever wanted in return. I find myself caring about little else. Money, dates, children, marriage, all that seems to come 2nd to the insatiable desire I have to feel another persons pain and help them through it. It’s heartbreaking when the person you love can’t handle, doesn’t know how to handle, or doesn’t want any part of that kind of love, because to me, that is the definition of all, to feel another so completely that you begin to understand the emotional body of another human being.
Wow I resonate with this so strongly. I have moon conjunct Pluto in 12th Sagittarius. Sexually I feel like I want to enter a lovers soul and infuse myself with theirs and go with them to meet god as one. To love on multiple dimension even the ones that hurt. I get soul attached to people I find special and obsessed with wanting to love them. I attract wounded emotionally unavailable types. Sad and true 😩😓 When you say that as children our 'psychic antennas' had to constantly be on I can relate to that. I had a schizo mom who was pretty unpredictable and I'd always have to observe her behaviour so I can predict when she's gonna try and overdose. I have this conjunction in scorpio in my first house, and feel it’s less of a blind spot for me. I’ve always been into all things depth psychology and knew I wanted to be a clinical psychologist at 16. I now work as a behavior technician where I teach children how to advocate for themselves and help to increase/decrease maladaptive behavior. So on the road to becoming a therapist/psychologist. I really feel like my purpose is to help others through their pain by giving them tools to self soothe and advocate for themselves. Thank you so much for making this video. Everything you said rings true! Pluto rising conjunct Moon here......deep needs for transformation and transcendence, stemmed from painful childhood and intense experiences in early life. My early experience with Pluto Moon conjunction is like the needs to be above it all in order to keep my head above water to breathe. Psychic antenna is always high up. But once done the inner work and transformation in my 20s, I feel much lighter and more joyful and am able to deeply connect with others who is in pain and suffering. I am done transforming myself (or put it the way you described, let go the attachments to pain basically), then I can help others transform. My mother was the acting father and mother to me and my sibling . My father at the time was in the Military and being too drunk to help take care of the family. My father could have killed me more than once when I was a child. My father would put beer in my bottle, I survived a car accident with my father being drunk at the wheel. My mother thought I was dead., and I fell off a two story building and broke my leg when I was 2 years old. My father was suppose to be watching me at the time. I didn't want my children going through hell like I did as a child. I made sure of that. I do have this deep emotional pain that I never talk about. I feel like this pain goes deep into my soul. I have Pluto, South Node, and Moon conjunct in Scorpio(5th house). So it's pretty intense aspect. I can relate to many things what you've said. No matter what I do there's always emotional pain I feel. From outside I look normal but nobody knows what kinda pain I'm experiencing inside. Sometimes feel like life is brutal with me. I've been bullied in school, betrayed, rejected many times, etc. Very little things hurt me too much, My feelings are extremely intense. I can understand other people's true feeling and emotion but at the same time whenever I tried to do so it feels draining like I'm taking their negativity. I don't know if I would ever live in peace because that's all I want.

I have moon conj pluto in the 1st, definatly very instense emotions. Never thought of it as addicted to pain but I do know that with self awareness and coping, learning to just let things go but without letting others walk all over you. I do agree with crisis situations/ first response, I'm the one who usually ends up very calm in them.

I have a persistent fear that if I stop “trying to heal”, others will point out everything that is unhealed and unhealthy about me (which has been my reality growing up) and will abandon me. There is definitely a sense that if I don’t “fix” myself, no one is there to care for me or give me love. So I err on the side of trying too much to heal, rather than to let go of the need to heal and become complacent with my unhealthy traits. About the need to “let go” of attachments part- I’ve found that forcing myself to “let go” of anything only triggers further clinging. I’ve learned it’s best to let the obsessions/dramatic emotions run their course until I don’t feel that tension within me anymore. Not sure if this is useful, but hopefully this approach may be helpful to others looking through the comments with this aspect 😊

I have an exact Pluto moon conjunction in Scorpio wrapped between sextiles and trines to Venus in Virgo, Neptune in Cap, my north node in Pisces and Chiron in cancer all at 9-11 degrees in the respective signs. It's a beautiful mess of intense emotions, compassion towards everyone and everything that triggers me emotionally and the need for complete emotional honesty within myself. I'm in the middle of my Saturn return right now and I just feel the need to cleanse emotionally and also in general. I do like this aspect though ;) I'm a tough cookie and I just know that I can handle any situation. Dear Jewel, thank you for this video. I cried watching it, but in a good way. What incredible timing, I have this aspect (in Libra, 4th house, conjunct North Node too, square my Sun) and I am seeing my mother again tomorrow evening for the first time in 3 years. I will try to remember your words when I see her and not to enter into a painful drama with her. She is a profoundly wounded woman as well and uses that freely to control and dominate. I realise I also use my wounds but in a much more covert and subconscious way. And especially through the people I choose to attach myself to/am drawn to. I will watch this video regularly to send these messages to my subconscious, she is listening, I can feel it! But since Pluto is so slow moving, this is perhaps inevitable with your own age group, would you say that is correct? So it really is a powerful aspect, beyond the personal, growing up you will be confronted with it from so many peers, which can also add more distortions to understandings of life and relationships/other people... I don't know, it is something I have been thinking about and wondering about. But of course, once this aspect is understood and integrated healthily, then these aspects could become more positive... +Felice Pricam Yes , this aspect will conjunct other people's plutos who are close to you in age. It is wise to date older or younger people if you don't want it present in your relationship or you can let it be as it is and deal with he themes that come as a result. There will be added clinging and drama but you are already used to the aspect yourself so it creates much less drama then it would otherwise.

I’m the same way. It’s like I want the persons soul, and I’ll bet my mine on it. Giving to much of myself on every level to obtain the impossible, it’s so risky like climbing the tallest mountain in the world without a harness knowing the drop will be deadly but loving the adrenaline rush and possibility of actually making it to the top of that love mountain, planning to live up there forever. Intense.
I know so many people in my life with this aspect, it's almost a prerequisite for close friendships and romantic partnerships. Then again, I'm highly plutonian, scorp rising, stellium of mercury venus and pluto conjunct ascendant, with mars and moon in the 8th, and I have Pluto inconjunct moon. People with this placement and I seem to understand each other so easily, psychically, and come to each other for big healing and hand holding through the evolution, sometimes it is hideous and terrifying, deeply emotional, and sometimes it is the epitome of joy and release. Substance abuse is prominent with this placement, or just addictive behavior in general. My younger friends with this placement battle with addiction. One friend recently actually overdosed. I met his mother at his vigil and was terrified of her, i sensed her darkness and intensity and was like, oh god. He didn't have a chance to begin with. Mother often uses her own pain as manipulation to get what she wants from the moon pluto child. Poor babies. They spend their lives looking for a good Mother. My father is a Pluto conjunct moon man, not surprisingly. His mother lived with us until we moved countries, so I was raised in the house with her and SHE was very domineering, and highly emotionally volatile. You pointed this out symbolically but also it could be taken literally knowing so many of these people- Milk and this placement. It's a daily comfort drink stemming deep from mother wounds. Milk and cookies, warm milk before bed, you name it, it's an integral ingredient in one's life with this much deep mother wound.

this is amazing because it's so true. i have a pisces sun with this aspect in my third house: Moon conjunct pluto as well as mars all within one degree of 15 sagittarius. Addiction and reliance on pain has been with me for 19 years. my childhood was dark and attracted plutonian energy. lots of it. Always had the psychic antennae very high, became addicted to substances as a teenager to suppress being unable to control having an extreme access to psychic energy and close relationship to pain. this video is very helpful and ive come to it at the time of my life where im transforming to be successful and finding im needing to transcend my pain pushed aside by a lifetime of 8th house encounters and more extreme addiction and growth as a person starting my teenage years. 10/10 would not trade any part of my life for any other experience than mine. the intensity of feeling i have was and is the only thing that ever brought value to my life.
I have this aspect in the 4th house in scorpio. Moon just a few minutes apart from pluto. It is a battle to give up the pain and the memories. Mediation is the best tool i found to turn off the antaenas ans alert mode. It is exhausting to be aways reading the room and the people, and you are right, its not aways accurate. There is a lot of conditioned reactions that are really hard to surrender. Find the peace within to be present with whatever comes, and feel the truth. Im going through pluto transit my descendant, and its so hard to have simple interactions. I wanna isolate and just indulge in my addictions. Wow. So accurate and insightful. You really unlocked something for me and articulated what I have been working wth at a soul level my entire life. I've Moon conjunct Pluto & South Node in Virgo at the base of a grand kite formation and exactly opposite Chiron on my MC. With a Cancer Asc (Moon is my ruling planet) the configuration assumes extra importance in my natal chart. I just resonated so deeply (hah!) with everything you said, Jewel, and really appreciate your wisdom and insight about how to make this aspect work FOR me rather than against me- and/or those I love! I have been exploiting and refining the transformative potential of this aspect as a creator-actor/ wounded healer for the past 45 years, so your line about wanting to climb up the butt of another (in my case, the roles I play) and wear them really spoke to my condition. Made me want to laugh and cry! After a troubled childhood with a passive aggressive, controlling mother who told me she knew what I was thinking I struggled for many years to let go, relax, and trust I was authentic and truthful without depending on torment, pain and angst and compulsive self- wrenching! It's taken a lot of work to arrive where I am now in my early 60s. Let me try to be more constructive. My mother is a vulnerable narcissist, borderline sociopath. On one occassion she did actually try to kill me. I spent up to about the age of 35 really unaware of it because my father was even worse and my mother just did the "poor me" routine. She told me often that she loved nobody but herself, and as the saying goes "When somebody tells you who they are, believe them". At the age of 35 I left an abusive partner at 7 months pregnant, and when I was finally safe in my modest apartment with the baby, I read a book called "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft. Much to my amazement the abusive behaviour he described, which was not outright violence (as my father) was things my mother did, not just my ex. That's when I finally made the connection and so I was able to read and learn. If you grow up in abuse, you cannot know what is normal, or at least you know it is not good and the more physical side of it is obvious, but hardly any of it is right. But what can you see? On the face of it you brush your teeth and your mom cleans the house and you seem the same as other families. Nobody can blame you for not seeing it. I struggled to name what it was about my mother for DECADES. Now I have you telling me I am addicted to the pain of this. 😂😂😂 Well, hell no. NOPE. NOPE. We only get one mother, one father. They are not easy to replace, and so of course you try to find a way you can continue to relate. I set boundaries. And when that didn't work, I hired a lawyer and drew up a Cease & Desist letter. I have this aspect in conjunction, and I can tell you that in no way do I believe that we are addicted to All the pain we have experienced in life with this aspect. I feel like you approached the aspect very well. I really am working hard on letting go of relationship patterns that hurt me. It is hard because I don't feel attracted to situations that others consider "healthy". I'm really struggling because letting go of drama somehow feels like I am pushing myself into situations that do not awake emotions. In oppose to being on your knees in the mud working through something, when everything is well I feel like aimlessly floating around in the wind (I suppose it feels uncomfortable precisely because in that situation you don't have control). At the same time being in the mud also makes me feel stuck. I just do not have any clue what type of people or situations I should go towards. I do benefit from these positions in my professional life. Moon in the 3rd house means that I can take on a lot. While working in arts I also benefit from an insight on a collective level. Questioning power structures and money is central to that.

I think you have to look at the sign placement. There is a huge difference between a Pluto moon in Leo or Scorpio, cancer vs Virgo or Sagittarius. Moon Pluto is compulsive, powerful will and focused and yes intuitive. The level of pain or control depends on the energy coming from the energy of the sign. Virgo or Sagittarius is not going to hold the pain and seek control like a cancer or Scorpio whose psychic connection is more primal.

I have pluto conjuction moon in 5th house in Scorpio. I always have hard times with my emotions because of their intensity. Something happens and i see that my response is different to that story than other people. I need to withdrawn maybe and recharge my batteries because its exhausting. Very often I stay too long with the pain because i dont how to manage it. And sometimes its like im searcing for complicated situations, difficult emotions and because of that i feel too intensely, (and thats is what i need) :) In those situations i feel satisfied and most alive, but it not easy. I have this in my 12th house in libra and I’m a Scorpio rising. Big pain and transformations are a constant theme in my life. I was kidnapped as a kid and missing over a year and terribly abused in every way at that time. When I was finally recovered, I was raised by grandparents who were really the only family I knew because my parents had huge psychological issues and grew up a spoiled rich kid, they died in my early 20s. Not only did I lose my fam, but they set up the trust wrong and the lawyer and trustee tricked them and got away with getting everything including the main house, land, money, a house that been purchased for me and my entire inheritance and trust money leaving me penniless. It’s a small town and the lawyer’s and trustee’s uncle was the main judge in town and lawyer’s wife was the DA. I literally couldn’t fight any of this even though was wrong. I am super psychic and always have been. I knew all of this was going to happen and warned my grandparents, but like Cassandra in Greek mythology, no one ever headed my warnings. I do practice all the weird things (tarot, various forms of magic, learning astrology, some mediumship abilities, etc.) I always feel pretty alone and I’m good at faking being close to a lot of people, but it’s hard for me to actually really trust many. And I never like asking for help even when need it.

What if we actually replace the word "pain" with "loss"? My understanding is that those folks are unconsciously in search for experiences that lead them to the feeling of loss as if it is something important to them. Pain is inevitably an element but they rather seem to gravitate around losing something/someone as they sorta constantly question the character of durability or loyalty of things or persons around them and they test them permanently as if they want to confirm something for themselves. They are afraid because they feel insecure. Where this insecurity is coming from? Good question! For sure childhood and for some reasons we are tempted to say "is the mother" because of the Moon. But i think we shouldnt have this narrow vision. The truth is that is whoever gives the child the feeling of being loved and nurtured. It can well be the mother, but it can be the father also or someone else if the parents are missing. We have different ways of expressing love and the child has different ways of understanding he is loved. The Moon is the mother and the Sun is the father in a very traditional insight. But we know the emotional makeup of parents can be also otherwise.The mother can also be more solar and the father more lunar. The planets dont talk about the actual gender, but rather about the vibration, the energy of the person regardless what the biological appearance is. My personal experience: my mother never knew how to express her affection such way to get to me and make me understand "my mother loves me" (as an adult now i perceive her as prideful and egotic, self centered, and its likely she has always been like that but as a child you just dont have the depth to grasp this). If i didnt have my father to compare, i would have probably believed that what my mother was doing was love. But my father was nurturing me, was my source of love and protection. For me, my father was my Moon. Therefore, whatever this person does will have an impact on the native if the Moon is touched in the natal chart.

My mom has this, I have moon square pluto. She's been through a lot in life. Holds on to it, refuses to grow at all. I am trying though it's extremely difficult to get over the past with moon/pluto.
I repeatedly see a parent’s natal conjunction present as a child’s natal square when it is a pattern meant to be broken by the child by becoming an acute theme in the life, ESPECIALLY when it involves the Moon. Breaking generational curses and healing generational wounds is tough, but you wouldn’t have that square if you weren’t equipped. Healing that trauma in yourself truly does have reverberations that permanently affect your life, environment, those around you, and generations to come. This is insane... and it makes me so sad... I have my Moon, Pluto, south node, Uranus AND Jupiter conjunct. In my 12th house! More or less on my ascendant! I experince it as if I grow in an extreme and very 'Uranian' way: in sudden huge quantum leaps - a couple of times (when my mother and father died) I felt like a gigantic drawer was pullet out of my solar plexus. But on a more day to day level I regularly (maybe once a year) have to kind of 'take my brain out in my hands and shake it' for everything to find its right place matching my new 'truth'. Never paid much attention to this aspect until I met someone I very much care for who has it. When I hear stories of his childhood I am floored. So much trauma. So now it really bothers me because I know that my twin daughters have this as well...one having it in her 12th house and one having it in her 1st. I worry so much about damage I might inflict on them from my own wounds, or being overbearing. They are teens now and I am seeing this aspect play out. Their ascendant is also in the same sign as my moon -Sagittarius. I did read that this aspect is indicative of a child born into its mother's own hell. This is true of my friend and it's true for my girls. When I had them, I was getting ready to leave an unhealthy relationship with their dad. When I got pregnant, it sort of sealed my fate at the time and I tried to make the best of it but he and I were not good for each other. It worries me that this sort of gloomy part of my own life had somehow imprinted them energetically. Their dad and I are divorced and we get along but at the time they were born, we already had two kids and were hurting financially. Also, the 12th house moon/pluto girl was born with a rare heart condition that further strained our lives. I have always been really careful not to let them know that I was in a miserable place because I got pregnant with them. I wouldn't give them up for the whole world and I can't imagine life without them. I really worry though that they sensed that. As an 8th house moon, and strong pluto contacts in my chart, i know how this helps one SEE into situations. I think the only thing I can do is try to express the healthy side of pluto. Being tough, but fair. Allowing them to enjoy all the spooky things they are into. They see me as a witch (as in having abilities) so i have shared my love of astrology and tarot. I am also fiercely loyal and protective.

Before I finally learned the long needed lesson of surrender, had I seen this video explaining it to me directly I probably STILL wouldn't have understood it...because it was so unconscious I didn't even realize how intensely I spent my entire fighting for control! @@Elwen-xs7gr Personally, practicing LOA concepts was extremely counterproductive because I really didn't understand it. What gave me the most significant leaps forward in letting go was letting go of my own ideals about how I felt life was SUPPOSED to be believing life wasn't only that way because things happened with my relationships with people and circumstances that I felt shouldn't have happened. In short, I accepted that everything happened simply because it was supposed to happen and I learned to stop taking the happenings of this world personally. I came to understand that my mother wasn't terrible toward me because of anything anybody did, but simply because her own life experiences that she came from left her no choice. She turned out the way she did for a reason I wasn't there to see and understand and it simply trickled down onto me just because I happened to be born as he son...nothing more. When I realized (or decided!) that there was inherently no such thing as blame and control because the universe will simply do what it does whether we all like it or not forgiveness and surrender pretty much came naturally.

This is so scary becase i had a lot of these realisations a while ago, now seeing this is such a shock for me. I’m 17 and i ve always been searching for intense feelings and situations that keep me on the edge, but since i’m a ‘security seeker’ at the same time i could never explain why am i like this. I grew up with a very unpredictible mother, so i always had to be emotionally prepared for her outbursts that came out of literally nowhere. I had to ALWAYS be like “will be mom angry when she comes home today?” Like i had to prepare for anything that could happen. I also grew as a very closed, mellow kid and i always carried an emotional burden and darkness with me.
Even tho i’m young, i am able to easily discern other people’s dark roots and subconscious because of how i’m searching for mine. My dream is actually to be a psychotherapist who helps people have these kind of realisations as well. You’re truly amazing and your video made me feel understood like i’ve never felt. Thank you!

@@Ohkeh640 not all Moon Scorpio will conjuct Pluto in Scorpio. The maxium orb for conjuction is up to 10 degree. If someone has Moon in Scorpio 3 degree, then Pluto in Scorpio at 28 degree, it only function as Scorpio Moon, not Plutonian. Plutonian are different from Scorpio.

Wanted to share my personal experience to help people have a better understanding of this aspect. I have my moon in exact conjunction with pluto in scorpio in the 8th. I have an Aries heavy chart (rising, venus, mars and mercury) with a pisces sun. This moon conj. pluto is what I relate the most in my chart. I feel like it is a very very powerfull tool that can do as much harm as it can do good. Learning to live with it required ressources, energy, a lot of endurance (without all that aries energy, I honestly don't think I would have made it to 20). I am what some people call an empath. I feel like I can understand the emotional true core of people as well as their motivations so easily but it's not always as great as it sounds. Right now I'm in my thirthies and I am discovering a lot about this key part of myself. I act like a sponge and take on other people emotions. Sometimes, I don't really know if what I feel is from me or not. I guess I am lucky to have the true compassionate side of my pisces sun combined with the brave, assertive, and always positive side of my aries part. Seeing how deep and strong I live my emotions (or other people emotions, even if they are fictional characters) I can easily understand how hard it might be for people with this placement and no positive/fire energy to help them. I see this like an incredible tool to understand and help people to grow, to heal and to realize their incredible and beautiful potential. I feel like a beacon with the possibility to radiate so much love around me that it can change things. I think people with this placement have great power in hands but also great responsabilities.

There's been this MASSIVE emphasis in my life on "healing" from trauma and negative experiences and difficulty. My thoughts have been obsessive and compulsive around the nature of my existence, and it's difficult for me to feel cared for by myself or anyone else, especially around family. It makes so much sense hearing it this way. I hadn't even considered NOT putting the emphasis on healing rather than living. I've been so obsessed with needing to be right about my family being unhealthy for me or uncaring or difficult that I often shut them out and disregard my own needs and how they contribute to satisfying them, among other things. I've been so detached from loving and living because I've been so obsessed with the pain and the survivalistic mentality I've carried from a young age. I'm only 20, and I know I have plenty of time to really come into a positive place and understanding about the truth, and my truth, but this makes a great deal of sense and I feel that it'll be incredibly helpful.

I have Sagittarius Moon conjunct Pluto in the 4th house. It is almost a perfect conjunction, just two degrees apart. As a child, I never wanted pain but I always felt this deep unexplainable emotional pain. I thought I was just a sad child. As years went by I went through emotional trauma that changed the way I was emotionally. Moon conjunct Pluto is known as the Hades Moon because natives have deep and dark emotions due to unresolved trauma and issues.

From what im gathering, whilst reflecting on my own experiences, this placement gives me the vibe of a vampiric, symbiotic energy toward relationships and connections. One of the best ways for me to deal with this is just letting it out when you need to, be it through arts or screaming how you feel, this is imperative if you wish to progress and become the phoenix your supposed to be if you have alot Pluto on your chart.

I have my Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in the 10th house and its been extremely difficult to be in relationships that don’t feed the depths of my emotional satisfaction. For the longest time I felt myself needing the kind of love and intimacy that would make me come alive in a new way. The desire to be accepted and understood for my darkness and the pain I’ve endured has become my biggest desire in intimate relationships. And like wise, my desire to have my partner open up to me in the same way is all I ever wanted in return. I find myself caring about little else. Money, dates, children, marriage, all that seems to come 2nd to the insatiable desire I have to feel another persons pain and help them through it. I almost feel completely useless as a human being when my lover is closed off from me and doesn’t want to share things with me. It hurts me a lot. It’s not that I’m not able to see things from a higher perspective and understand that people handle their emotions differently but it almost feels like a slap in the face to me when humans deny that very raw part of their nature, and I tend to not see them as human at all but some other kind of specimen. Anyway, you hit a lot of things on the nail, but I laughed when you said if we could we would crawl up our lovers butts and wear their skin, because I’ve said that to my lover before, not in those exact words of course, but I’ve gently and romantically shared with him that I would like to be in his skin, just to feel him so completely and know what its like. It’s heartbreaking when the person you love can’t handle, doesn’t know how to handle, or doesn’t want any part of that kind of love, because to me, that is the definition of all, to feel another so completely that you begin to understand the emotional body of another human being.
Wow I resonate with this so strongly. I have moon conjunct Pluto in 12th Sagittarius. Sexually I feel like I want to enter a lovers soul and infuse myself with theirs and go with them to meet god as one. To love on multiple dimension even the ones that hurt. I get soul attached to people I find special and obsessed with wanting to love them. I attract wounded emotionally unavailable types. I get stuck on wanting to open them up like a walnut or the wanting to suck every drop of juice out of the coconut working so hard to open it to find theirs nothing. The feelings aren’t reciprocated. When you say that as children our 'psychic antennas' had to constantly be on I can relate to that. I had a schizo mom who was pretty unpredictable and I'd always have to observe her behaviour so I can predict when she's gonna try and overdose. So as time went by I 'cracked' the pattern to her behaviour which helped with putting all the pieces of the puzzle together.

I have this conjunction in scorpio in my first house, and feel it’s less of a blind spot for me. I’ve always been into all things depth psychology and knew I wanted to be a clinical psychologist at 16. I now work as a behavior technician where I teach children how to advocate for themselves and help to increase/decrease maladaptive behavior. So on the road to becoming a therapist/psychologist. I really feel like my purpose is to help others through their pain by giving them tools to self soothe and advocate for themselves. However, I secretly feel like I’m always there for others and no one is there for me. I had to teach myself these things in order to help others. This might relate to my libra chiron in 12th tho. Thank you so much for making this video. Everything you said rings true! Pluto rising conjunct Moon here......deep needs for transformation and transcendence, stemmed from painful childhood and intense experiences in early life. My early experience with Pluto Moon conjunction is like the needs to be above it all in order to keep my head above water to breathe. Psychic antenna is always high up. But once done the inner work and transformation in my 20s, I feel much lighter and more joyful and am able to deeply connect with others who is in pain and suffering. I am done transforming myself (or put it the way you described, let go the attachments to pain basically), then I can help others transform. I noticed evolved Pluto can help see through pains in order to end pains, to remind ourself pain is unnecessary, or the reaction is not necessary. My father could have killed me more than once when I was a child.
My father would put beer in my bottle, I survived a car accident with my father being drunk at the wheel. My mother thought I was dead., and I fell off a two story building and broke my leg when I was 2 years old. My father was suppose to be watching me at the time.

I do have this deep emotional pain that I never talk about. I feel like this pain goes deep into my soul.

I have Pluto, South Node, and Moon conjunct in Scorpio(5th house). So it's pretty intense aspect. I can relate to many things what you've said. No matter what I do there's always emotional pain I feel. From outside I look normal but nobody knows what kinda pain I'm experiencing inside. Sometimes feel like life is brutal with me. I've been bullied in school, betrayed, rejected many times, etc. Very little things hurt me too much, My feelings are extremely intense. I can understand other people's true feeling and emotion but at the same time whenever I tried to do so it feels draining like I'm taking their negativity. I don't know if I would ever live in peace because that's all I want.

I have moon conj pluto in the 1st, definatly very instense emotions. Never thought of it as addicted to pain but I do know that with self awareness and coping, learning to just let things go but without letting others walk all over you. I do agree with crisis situations/ first response, I'm the one who usually ends up very calm in them.

Then today I learned my moon is conjunct Pluto. Also my midheaven is conjunct Pluto, all of them in the 10th house. EVERYTHING you said resonates so deep. I feel like my whole life I've been trying to pull pain from the depths of my soul on order to transcend, I thrive in chaos. I've had lots of death, pain and sorrow...but felt like it was part of my ascension here. I do Reiki healing and intuitive readings, also mediumship, and I use this now to help people get to the bottom of their pain and emotions, but never thought that it doesnt have to be this long drawn out process, we can go in, heal it and release it. I have a persistent fear that if I stop “trying to heal”, others will point out everything that is unhealed and unhealthy about me (which has been my reality growing up) and will abandon me. There is definitely a sense that if I don’t “fix” myself, no one is there to care for me or give me love. So I err on the side of trying too much to heal, rather than to let go of the need to heal and become complacent with my unhealthy traits.
About the need to “let go” of attachments part- I’ve found that forcing myself to “let go” of anything only triggers further clinging. I’ve learned it’s best to let the obsessions/dramatic emotions run their course until I don’t feel that tension within me anymore.
Not sure if this is useful, but hopefully this approach may be helpful to others looking through the comments with this aspect 😊

I have an exact Pluto moon conjunction in Scorpio wrapped between sextiles and trines to Venus in Virgo, Neptune in Cap, my north node in Pisces and Chiron in cancer all at 9-11 degrees in the respective signs. It's a beautiful mess of intense emotions, compassion towards everyone and everything that triggers me emotionally and the need for complete emotional honesty within myself. I'm in the middle of my Saturn return right now and I just feel the need to cleanse emotionally and also in general. I do like this aspect though ;) I'm a tough cookie and I just know that I can handle any situation. Dear Jewel, thank you for this video. I cried watching it, but in a good way. What incredible timing, I have this aspect (in Libra, 4th house, conjunct North Node too, square my Sun) and I am seeing my mother again tomorrow evening for the first time in 3 years. I will try to remember your words when I see her and not to enter into a painful drama with her. She is a profoundly wounded woman as well and uses that freely to control and dominate. I realise I also use my wounds but in a much more covert and subconscious way. And especially through the people I choose to attach myself to/am drawn to. I will watch this video regularly to send these messages to my subconscious, she is listening, I can feel it! I have also had very precise psychic experiences and can sense people's energies to the point where when I was younger I didn't know whether they were theirs or mine. ps: I also wanted to add one thing. With most of my close relationships I also have this aspect in synastry - my moon conjunct their Pluto. But since Pluto is so slow moving, this is perhaps inevitable with your own age group, would you say that is correct? So it really is a powerful aspect, beyond the personal, growing up you will be confronted with it from so many peers, which can also add more distortions to understandings of life and relationships/other people... I don't know, it is something I have been thinking about and wondering about. But of course, once this aspect is understood and integrated healthily, then these aspects could become more positive... I am not trying to be deterministic here!
+Felice Pricam Yes , this aspect will conjunct other people's plutos who are close to you in age. It is wise to date older or younger people if you don't want it present in your relationship or you can let it be as it is and deal with he themes that come as a result. There will be added clinging and drama but you are already used to the aspect yourself so it creates much less drama then it would otherwise.

I’m the same way. It’s like I want the persons soul, and I’ll bet my mine on it. Giving to much of myself on every level to obtain the impossible, it’s so risky like climbing the tallest mountain in the world without a harness knowing the drop will be deadly but loving the adrenaline rush and possibility of actually making it to the top of that love mountain, planning to live up there forever. Intense.
I know so many people in my life with this aspect, it's almost a prerequisite for close friendships and romantic partnerships. Then again, I'm highly plutonian, scorp rising, stellium of mercury venus and pluto conjunct ascendant, with mars and moon in the 8th, and I have Pluto inconjunct moon. People with this placement and I seem to understand each other so easily, psychically, and come to each other for big healing and hand holding through the evolution, sometimes it is hideous and terrifying, deeply emotional, and sometimes it is the epitome of joy and release. Substance abuse is prominent with this placement, or just addictive behavior in general. My younger friends with this placement battle with addiction. One friend recently actually overdosed. I met his mother at his vigil and was terrified of her, i sensed her darkness and intensity and was like, oh god. He didn't have a chance to begin with. Mother often uses her own pain as manipulation to get what she wants from the moon pluto child. Poor babies. They spend their lives looking for a good Mother.
My father is a Pluto conjunct moon man, not surprisingly. His mother lived with us until we moved countries, so I was raised in the house with her and SHE was very domineering, and highly emotionally volatile. You pointed this out symbolically but also it could be taken literally knowing so many of these people- Milk and this placement. It's a daily comfort drink stemming deep from mother wounds. Milk and cookies, warm milk before bed, you name it, it's an integral ingredient in one's life with this much deep mother wound.

this is amazing because it's so true. i have a pisces sun with this aspect in my third house: Moon conjunct pluto as well as mars all within one degree of 15 sagittarius. Addiction and reliance on pain has been with me for 19 years. my childhood was dark and attracted plutonian energy. lots of it. Always had the psychic antennae very high, became addicted to substances as a teenager to suppress being unable to control having an extreme access to psychic energy and close relationship to pain. this video is very helpful and ive come to it at the time of my life where im transforming to be successful and finding im needing to transcend my pain pushed aside by a lifetime of 8th house encounters and more extreme addiction and growth as a person starting my teenage years. 10/10 would not trade any part of my life for any other experience than mine. the intensity of feeling i have was and is the only thing that ever brought value to my life.
I have this aspect in the 4th house in scorpio. Moon just a few minutes apart from pluto. It is a battle to give up the pain and the memories. Mediation is the best tool i found to turn off the antaenas ans alert mode. It is exhausting to be aways reading the room and the people, and you are right, its not aways accurate. There is a lot of conditioned reactions that are really hard to surrender. Find the peace within to be present with whatever comes, and feel the truth. Im going through pluto transit my descendant, and its so hard to have simple interactions. I wanna isolate and just indulge in my addictions. Its a daily practice to strengthen my connection with source so i dont project the need for intensity ans truth in the other. From time to time i come back to this video and i aways get more insight. Wow. So accurate and insightful. You really unlocked something for me and articulated what I have been working wth at a soul level my entire life.
I've Moon conjunct Pluto & South Node in Virgo at the base of a grand kite formation and exactly opposite Chiron on my MC. With a Cancer Asc (Moon is my ruling planet) the configuration assumes extra importance in my natal chart. I just resonated so deeply (hah!) with everything you said, Jewel, and really appreciate your wisdom and insight about how to make this aspect work FOR me rather than against me- and/or those I love! I have been exploiting and refining the transformative potential of this aspect as a creator-actor/ wounded healer for the past 45 years, so your line about wanting to climb up the butt of another (in my case, the roles I play) and wear them really spoke to my condition. Made me want to laugh and cry! After a troubled childhood with a passive aggressive, controlling mother who told me she knew what I was thinking I struggled for many years to let go, relax, and trust I was authentic and truthful without depending on torment, pain and angst and compulsive self- wrenching!

Let me try to be more constructive. My mother is a vulnerable narcissist, borderline sociopath. On one occassion she did actually try to kill me. I spent up to about the age of 35 really unaware of it because my father was even worse and my mother just did the "poor me" routine. She told me often that she loved nobody but herself, and as the saying goes "When somebody tells you who they are, believe them". At the age of 35 I left an abusive partner at 7 months pregnant, and when I was finally safe in my modest apartment with the baby, I read a book called "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft. Much to my amazement the abusive behaviour he described, which was not outright violence (as my father) was things my mother did, not just my ex. That's when I finally made the connection and so I was able to read and learn. If you grow up in abuse, you cannot know what is normal, or at least you know it is not good and the more physical side of it is obvious, but hardly any of it is right. But what can you see? On the face of it you brush your teeth and your mom cleans the house and you seem the same as other families. Nobody can blame you for not seeing it. I struggled to name what it was about my mother for DECADES. Now I have you telling me I am addicted to the pain of this. 😂😂😂 Well, hell no. NOPE. NOPE. We only get one mother, one father. They are not easy to replace, and so of course you try to find a way you can continue to relate. I set boundaries. And when that didn't work, I hired a lawyer and drew up a Cease & Desist letter. I have had no contact with them now for 7 years. 7 very happy years. I don't doubt I have scars, but don't you ever dare say I am addicted to the pain. Nobody with this experience would EVER want it.

I am sorry for what you went through. I have this aspect in conjunction, and I can tell you that in no way do I believe that we are addicted to All the pain we have experienced in life with this aspect. We feel deeply and can sense other People's emotions as well. We go through difficult things in life, addiction to pain and being a drama Queen, no that is not what we are.

I really am working hard on letting go of relationship patterns that hurt me. It is hard because I don't feel attracted to situations that others consider "healthy". I'm really struggling because letting go of drama somehow feels like I am pushing myself into situations that do not awake emotions. In oppose to being on your knees in the mud working through something, when everything is well I feel like aimlessly floating around in the wind (I suppose it feels uncomfortable precisely because in that situation you don't have control). At the same time being in the mud also makes me feel stuck.
I just do not have any clue what type of people or situations I should go towards.
I do benefit from these positions in my professional life. Moon in the 3rd house means that I can take on a lot. While working in arts I also benefit from an insight on a collective level. Questioning power structures and money is central to that.

I think you have to look at the sign placement. There is a huge difference between a Pluto moon in Leo or Scorpio, cancer vs Virgo or Sagittarius. Moon Pluto is compulsive, powerful will and focused and yes intuitive. The level of pain or control depends on the energy coming from the energy of the sign. Virgo or Sagittarius is not going to hold the pain and seek control like a cancer or Scorpio whose psychic connection is more primal.

I have pluto conjuction moon in 5th house in Scorpio. I always have hard times with my emotions because of their intensity. Something happens and i see that my response is different to that story than other people. I need to withdrawn maybe and recharge my batteries because its exhausting. Very often I stay too long with the pain because i dont how to manage it. And sometimes its like im searcing for complicated situations, difficult emotions and because of that i feel too intensely, (and thats is what i need) :) In those situations i feel satisfied and most alive, but it not easy. I have this in my 12th house in libra and I’m a Scorpio rising. Big pain and transformations are a constant theme in my life. I was kidnapped as a kid and missing over a year and terribly abused in every way at that time.
When I was finally recovered, I was raised by grandparents who were really the only family I knew because my parents had huge psychological issues and grew up a spoiled rich kid, they died in my early 20s. Not only did I lose my fam, but they set up the trust wrong and the lawyer and trustee tricked them and got away with getting everything including the main house, land, money, a house that been purchased for me and my entire inheritance and trust money leaving me penniless. It’s a small town and the lawyer’s and trustee’s uncle was the main judge in town and lawyer’s wife was the DA. I literally couldn’t fight any of this even though was wrong.
I am super psychic and always have been. I knew all of this was going to happen and warned my grandparents, but like Cassandra in Greek mythology, no one ever headed my warnings.
I do practice all the weird things (tarot, various forms of magic, learning astrology, some mediumship abilities, etc.) I always feel pretty alone and I’m good at faking being close to a lot of people, but it’s hard for me to actually really trust many. And I never like asking for help even when need it.

Sort of, Ma i. We ended up having a kid together!! The baby is the one with the moon Pluto conjunction. He and I have processed the cheating for years. There was so much drama. Not so much anymore because try to shield the baby from it. But, the research I've done on this aspects tells me she's wired for drama. Pisces sun, Cancer ascendant with moon in Scorpio in the 4th house conjunct Pluto here and I am in tears. All my life I have struggled with the most intense emotions not knowing why until the past year when I began my astrology journey. I’ve experienced so much trauma and disappointment throughout my life that currently I am addicted to and obsessed with the avoidance of real or perceived betrayal/abandonment. I so badly want to overcome it and several times I thought I had but I always end up regressing. 😔
What if we actually replace the word "pain" with "loss"? My understanding is that those folks are unconsciously in search for experiences that lead them to the feeling of loss as if it is something important to them. Pain is inevitably an element but they rather seem to gravitate around losing something/someone as they sorta constantly question the character of durability or loyalty of things or persons around them and they test them permanently as if they want to confirm something for themselves. They are afraid because they feel insecure.
Where this insecurity is coming from? Good question! For sure childhood and for some reasons we are tempted to say "is the mother" because of the Moon. But i think we shouldnt have this narrow vision. The truth is that is whoever gives the child the feeling of being loved and nurtured. It can well be the mother, but it can be the father also or someone else if the parents are missing. We have different ways of expressing love and the child has different ways of understanding he is loved. The Moon is the mother and the Sun is the father in a very traditional insight. But we know the emotional makeup of parents can be also otherwise.The mother can also be more solar and the father more lunar. The planets dont talk about the actual gender, but rather about the vibration, the energy of the person regardless what the biological appearance is.
My personal experience: my mother never knew how to express her affection such way to get to me and make me understand "my mother loves me" (as an adult now i perceive her as prideful and egotic, self centered, and its likely she has always been like that but as a child you just dont have the depth to grasp this). If i didnt have my father to compare, i would have probably believed that what my mother was doing was love. But my father was nurturing me, was my source of love and protection. For me, my father was my Moon.
Therefore, whatever this person does will have an impact on the native if the Moon is touched in the natal chart.

My mom has this, I have moon square pluto. She's been through a lot in life. Holds on to it, refuses to grow at all. I am trying though it's extremely difficult to get over the past with moon/pluto.
I repeatedly see a parent’s natal conjunction present as a child’s natal square when it is a pattern meant to be broken by the child by becoming an acute theme in the life, ESPECIALLY when it involves the Moon. Breaking generational curses and healing generational wounds is tough, but you wouldn’t have that square if you weren’t equipped. Healing that trauma in yourself truly does have reverberations that permanently affect your life, environment, those around you, and generations to come. I also believe it sends ripples of healing to those who’ve come before us as well (time is not linear). Best of luck on this difficult, yet profoundly poignant journey.

I experince it as if I grow in an extreme and very 'Uranian' way: in sudden huge quantum leaps - a couple of times (when my mother and father died) I felt like a gigantic drawer was pullet out of my solar plexus. But on a more day to day level I regularly (maybe once a year) have to kind of 'take my brain out in my hands and shake it' for everything to find its right place matching my new 'truth'.
Scary and very, very tiresome.

Never paid much attention to this aspect until I met someone I very much care for who has it. When I hear stories of his childhood I am floored. So much trauma.
So now it really bothers me because I know that my twin daughters have this as well...one having it in her 12th house and one having it in her 1st. I worry so much about damage I might inflict on them from my own wounds, or being overbearing. They are teens now and I am seeing this aspect play out. Their ascendant is also in the same sign as my moon -Sagittarius.
I did read that this aspect is indicative of a child born into its mother's own hell. This is true of my friend and it's true for my girls. When I had them, I was getting ready to leave an unhealthy relationship with their dad. When I got pregnant, it sort of sealed my fate at the time and I tried to make the best of it but he and I were not good for each other. It worries me that this sort of gloomy part of my own life had somehow imprinted them energetically. Their dad and I are divorced and we get along but at the time they were born, we already had two kids and were hurting financially. Also, the 12th house moon/pluto girl was born with a rare heart condition that further strained our lives. I have always been really careful not to let them know that I was in a miserable place because I got pregnant with them. I wouldn't give them up for the whole world and I can't imagine life without them. I really worry though that they sensed that. As an 8th house moon, and strong pluto contacts in my chart, i know how this helps one SEE into situations.
I think the only thing I can do is try to express the healthy side of pluto. Being tough, but fair. Allowing them to enjoy all the spooky things they are into. They see me as a witch (as in having abilities) so i have shared my love of astrology and tarot. I am also fiercely loyal and protective.

Maybe my biggest challenge is the only square it has to the MC.
The experiences are just as painful, maybe even more so because I believe these aspects makes you more aware of the painful "realities". I have loved these very hurtful family for so long.. it took 45 years to go through an injury to make me detach from the pain that was so horrible from my love ones. It has been the biggest transformation in my life together with a romantic relationship I had.

However with great pain comes immense potential to harness power, with that power comes responsibility. Before I finally learned the long needed lesson of surrender, had I seen this video explaining it to me directly I probably STILL wouldn't have understood it...because it was so unconscious I didn't even realize how intensely I spent my entire fighting for control! Through constant exposure to a group people determined to understand spiritual life (moon+pluto in 11th house) I was able to become conscious of my constant grappling with the outcomes of life due to my lack of trust in it and eventually surrender to it completely. @@Elwen-xs7gr Personally, practicing LOA concepts was extremely counterproductive because I really didn't understand it. What gave me the most significant leaps forward in letting go was letting go of my own ideals about how I felt life was SUPPOSED to be believing life wasn't only that way because things happened with my relationships with people and circumstances that I felt shouldn't have happened. In short, I accepted that everything happened simply because it was supposed to happen and I learned to stop taking the happenings of this world personally. I came to understand that my mother wasn't terrible toward me because of anything anybody did, but simply because her own life experiences that she came from left her no choice. She turned out the way she did for a reason I wasn't there to see and understand and it simply trickled down onto me just because I happened to be born as he son...nothing more. When I realized (or decided!) that there was inherently no such thing as blame and control because the universe will simply do what it does whether we all like it or not forgiveness and surrender pretty much came naturally.
