@@emmakelley5371 Long story short: Skarbrand used to be the strongest and most favored of Khorne's bloodthirsters.
One day he decided to challenge Khorne himself for dominance. There never been a solid explanation for why he did this, but some people suspect Tzeench tricked him into doing it.
Naturally, Skarbrand lost and to punish him, Khorne burnt his wings and exiled him. Skarbrand then became a broken tool rage, hopelessly trying regain favor with Khorne.

Well, if you look at the older WFB 3rd edition/ 40k rogue trader era bloodthirsters, they had the heads and faces of hounds, so Skarbrand could indeed be a doggo.
Khorne is just a dog guy, he respects his fur-babies.

Reminds me of the time I took Taurox to the donut and wiped out every single faction living on it, leaving nothing but herdstones to prevent anyone ever resettling it ever again. (most of them were on the gates themselves because I thought it'd be cool). Any surviving High Elves ran into Dark Elf territory and they started wiping each other out to survive the cow men...

The editor notes on the Lothern/Etaine mistakes were very funny, I might need to start a khorne Campaign, see if Karanak wants to go for a walk somewhere

it's okay zerk, they called the faction lothern in 2, your brain is just feeling nostalgic.
The next challenge is taking Archaon on a crusade to burn down Naggarond and the surrounding dark-elf settlements like the ancient city of quintex and Hag greef. It will finish the elven trinity even though the dark elves probably are the least degenerate of the three.
Skaarbrand is a respectable member of the community. Skaarbrand makes sure to adopt as many strays as Skaarbrand can, and treats them well.
You should try winning a campaing with only throwing axes dwarfs, and destroy all elves, of course

Purging the donut of elf lives was my only goal while playing N'kari, I am not great at the game and hadn't played Slaneesh so it was a slog.
Tbf gw should give skarbrand a more animalistic centaur like form. I think that would be badass and bring him closer to doghood

Unfortunately for him, "cunning deception" is Skarbrand's specialty.
Maybe do a campaign where you have to sheperd a minor faction to total victory without being able to take any settlements yourself (or id you do you have to trade them off instantly).

How did you get em? I followed all the steps but never got it which makes me sad. Wait is it a hero? Or legendary lord?
Karanak is a legendary hero. Make sure you have the FLC for him activated (it's free but you still need to get it). Get Skarbrand to level 16 and the quest will show.
