If you're looking for a Florida motorcycle tuner, give us a call and we'll wake your bike up!! 727-256-0001
This customer brought his 2018 H2 SX in because of some issues he was having. For the most part, the bike is pretty stock, but does have a full scorpion style exhaust system and a mail in flash. His issue is the drivability of his bike. Most mail in ecu flashing is a base no matter how you plan on riding the bike. Here we show you if you should get a mail in ecu flash, or if a mail in flash is worth it compared to a custom dyno tune which is specific to YOUR bike since we have it on the dyno and can monitor the graphs as we go. His low end to mid range would hesitate with partial throttle. Which is common amongst these mail in motorcycle flashes. Thanks to using the dyno, we're able to see exactly where the issues are being felt. This allows us to get that smooth power back. Not all mail in tunes are bad, in fact, this one was pretty good, but again, these tunes are base tunes that are sent out to EVERYONE. And no two bikes are the same. There could be small differences in the engine or airflow that could change how that tune feels in your bike. Again, this is why a custom tune on the dyno is superior. Where is the ECU on an Kawasaki H2? It's hidden. It's a pain to pull out and mail out. We also took the DB killer out hoping to grab a few more HP out of this bike. In the end, the bike performed great on the dyno and this customer is going to love the way his motorcycle rides!!
So moral of the story...no matter how good the tuner, no matter the experience, no 2 bikes are the same, no1 has a catologue for every bolt on option its pure guess work, so pay the extra and get the damn things custom tuned at a dyno!😂
Finally, someone gets it! 😅 thank you for understanding what I have been trying to explain so poorly 😂
Great video and informative. Good job guys!
Thank you sir 🙏
Great Video I like to see more like this. Thank you
I think for a lot of people a mail in flash is gonna be the best they can get without driving halfway across the country
Very true and we do offer mail in flashes for people who can't make it in. We just want to inform people more so than talking any kind of crap or hating. 🤙
Obviously, you're not trash talking them but, who do you normally see issues with mail in flashes? There are so many "shops" that I see having people tune their H2 family bikes. Be nice to know who to avoid.
Noise reduction was probably the issue not the tuner.
Let's just say a lot of them have issues. Some way worse than others. Sometimes we don't know who did the mail in unless it's stamped or noted in ecu. Some ecus are locked so we can't see who did it unless customer tells us.
@@provenpowercycles Chris Moore did mine for me. I took it to him but it was the standard flash no dyno on my Z H2. So far so good. Seems to ride and drive great slow and medium and as you know it's scary up top. When I first got it flashed I didn't like it felt sluggish and unresponsive then I found out my bike shop had over filled the oil....by a lot so that was blowing up into the intake causing me to have really crappy performance. Once I got that drained down to proper holy cow was it scary. lol.
Great video! Thanks!
Thank you 🙌
Need some ktm bikes in the shop
That bike was tuned by MooreMafia lol. No one really knows how to properly tune a motorcycle but TwoWheelDynoWorks, they tune bikes for multiple AMA Racing teams, some tuners have no idea how to fix ignition mapping which is a major deal but TwoWheelDynoWorks knows exactly what to do, sadly TwoWheelDynoWorks is the only tuner in America that really knows what he's doing period!
"Properly" is entirely subjective for a mail-in flash. Who does the best varies from model to model. I would not put 2wheel above vcyclenut on any of the models he works on, for example, but he limits his offerings. A big part of mail in flashing is communication too, and if you saw the notes/information that Moore Mafia receives from people on what they want, you would understand. Eric even mentions in this video about bike details not being mentioned to a tuner. 2wheel does no where even CLOSE to the volume of mail in flashing that Moore Mafia does, nor do they cover as many models. Not even in the same league. But they do specialize on certain models.
@@CryptolockerMD nor does mooremafia knows how to tune ignition maps. I’ve seen what he does and it’s outright ready to blow some engines, where two wheel dyno pulls and add timing anywhere it needs. But hey two wheel dyno tunes for professional racing teams where Moore mafia, Brenttuning and etc tunes bikes for street racing/ drag racing. I agree on VCycleNut, MT09 and MT10 are his specialty and I had both done by him, currently running his flash on my MT10SP. He owns an MT10 right now and fine tuned the bike after dyno on the streets running whoolichs data logger

Moore mafia knows way more that any of the idiots i have seen
They flashed all my bikes with NO issues
And since Chris Moore is the fastest bike out there knida hars to talk trash buddy maybe if you had a good bike and good parts .....
To say only one company out there knows their stuff is a stretch. There are plenty of companies / tuners out there that know how to tune and tune "properly." There are many different ways to approach tuning based on conditions, rider tendencies and habits, the type of bike, the type of modifications on the bike, what the bike is being used for, etc etc etc.
Now, there are definitely many hacks in the industry, but that's with any industry. You have good and bad doctors, vets, IT people, etc. There are definitely those people who only are just trying to sell you on some junk and call it a tune.
I'm just here to show the differences between the two (custom tune vs mail in generic).
I've never seen a solid mail in flash... something is always off..
95% of the time, this is the case...
What about 2wheeldynowork. I heard many great things from their costumers
Is there any particular reason you don't put the O2 sensor into the bung of the exhaust itself and not use the sniffer down the end can
Narrowband sensors are incapable of getting aqequate readings for the purpose of tuning, and welding a wideband bung to an exhaust is not always an option. If you you know how to use a sniffer properly, its still better than a wideband to narrowband adapter as well.
Wideband sensors are m18 while the narrow band is m12. You physically can't put the wideband sensor in a narrowband hole. The sniffer still works great, just a slight delay in readings. But you get used to it. I prefer to utilize the wideband bung whenever I can.
So tell everyone who did the flash.....
i like how u leave the white decal of the scam company that cost me 1500 doll.at least u got 900 from me to fix my mail in ruiined flash chek eng lights everywhere
I saw that as well, but i was like no way that’s their sticker lol
Let me guess???Another Poor mafia tune…. 4 people including myself, had to get our ECU re- flashed to fix all the damage Moore mafia did. A real tuner explained to me what he did, Pure laziness, Moore mafia not a real tuner.🤦🏻♂️
