Never stand on a bucket for any high areas. NO MATTER WHAT NEIMAN SAYS. Spilling paint is the least of your worries- sprained or broken ankles take a lot longer to fix. Be safe. Cutting corners can be expensive. Think safety!!!!

Please don't be embarrassed. I missed the last step on my ladder and fell butt first into the paint pan full of yellow paint. 💛 I never laughed so hard at myself. You're making fun memories in your new home. Congratulations on getting it.

Lauren, if I was you, I wouldn't pain the bedrooms that are already white. Nowadays, white paint is back in. You can put colors on the walls with decorations and nice curtains, plus you can always redecorate. Think about decorating before painting and you will save money and the rooms, which I think are small, will look better with white paint. Just a thought. 😊

Plus darker or medium color paints makes your rooms look even smaller. 🙂

My parents had plastic type tiles in their bathroom that they had painted. Probably from the 50's. Worked fine to paint it whatever color they wanted.

I use the Wagner roller all the time and I can even paint an 8 ft ceiling without a ladder

Thank you so much for keeping that in! I did the same thing a few weeks ago and felt so bad about it that I cleaned up the mess and left the room how it is……. It’s a kids room and I knew they would be coloring on the walls at some point anyways. Watching a pro make the same mistake definitely makes me feel better 🤣

Lol.. 😅 oh my gosh Lauren, hey don't feel bad. Ive done that on numerous occasions, falling off a ladder, or bucket, I step in the paint and knock it over! I've done that so many times spilling the paint. The only thing you can do is laugh or I'd cry.
