I'm so glad he did this, recorded his thoughts. At the time it might have seemed strange to his friends and family that he was talking into a tape recorder but he had to have known all these recordings, someone was going to find them. He documented his life in his own words. Such genius.

Reminiscent of Samuel Beckett's "Krapp's Last Tape."
Very worth watching. Brando never came to grips with his gift, gravitated from cause to cause seeking to be valued and relevant, became lazier and lazier over time, and let his world, his family, and his Tahitian island brethren fall to shambles.
He's like a Peter Pan who grew old but never up; be became Kurtz!
