Terrific WIP parade. Nice variety of projects. I tend to be all over the place with my projects as well.

I love that you are doing a John Milton sampler. I had a class on him in grad school nearly 20 years ago. It was a great class.

That’s awesome! Milton was one of my favorite parts of grad school 😊

I agree with you about some of the fabrics that are special dyes are very soft and a little hard to stitch on. I’ve been thinking about ironing and maybe starching the fabrics that I have to see if that improves my ease of stitching, because I stitch mostly in hand. This is my first viewing of your channel and I enjoyed it a lot.

That’s an interesting idea! I wonder if the starch would effect the hand dyed nature? If you try it let me know! Thank you for your compliments, happy stitching!

I'm 60, does that mean I should have more projects? Lol, happy birthday.

Haha! It might if you like having a lot of choices. For me it’s sort of like a reward-I have 38 options to choose from 😃 and thank you!

Loved your wip parade...such variety! Love the Ann Tong sampler, the spring sampler and the Christmas Quakers the best. Good no for jumping right into all the big projects. How are you liking Vicky Clayton silks? Have fun with all your Halloween stitches! Thanks for taking the time to share your work.

Thank you for your lovely comment! The Vicky Clayton silks are lovely. I like them so much I’ve purchased a few more sets for some samplers I plan to start next year.

Just counted my WIPS , I have 27 and I am 47, but I have 10 kitted so that would make 37 😂
Loved seeing your wips! Thanks for sharing! I just started my Christmas Tree, inspired by you 😊 and I’m also working on Quaker floral puzzle and about 3/4 ish done, I love it! I did change some of the pastels out because the brighter colors just match me better I guess? But the pastels are beautiful too. Have fun!

Also just kitted up Jane Atkinson thanks to you and Carol salt box stitcher, she’s pretty far on hers, so beautiful!!

Thank you!! Ohhhh if i counted my kitted projects I would definitely need to be a few decades older!!
I hope you enjoy Christmas Tree! It’s a beautiful pattern.
I think Quaker floral puzzle will be great if I either change my fabric or use two strands of floss for more coverage.
Yes! Carol’s Jane Atkinson is so beautiful! I need to pull mine out again soon!

I love WIP parades, and yours was terrific. If I may make a suggestion....I couldn't admire your work as much as I wanted to because in some cases the projects were so backlit that the work was washed out for me. Or in other cases, they were held up in such a way that they were not fully on camera. I hate to be so picky, but I also want to appreciate all the hard work that you put into the projects and into the flosstube.

Thank you for letting me know!! I’ve ordered some better lighting and I hope my next video will be able to show everything off in a better light (pun intended! ☺️) I’ll also work at holding things up longer and make sure everything is in frame. Thank you for your kind comment and suggestions, it’s appreciated!
