I bought the stock version awhile back. Chopped its roof off and put it on a revell 1972 cutlass convertible to make a cutlass supreme. Turn out awesome.
A $500.00 ultra sonic plastic cutter with the optional super thin "blade" (no joke) would have cut that trunk lid open in less than an hour. I'm just $495.50 away fom having one. The paint was just right. I agree with you, Chris, the white flame stripes tied it all together - inside and out. Thanks for the build.
I've built the stock version of this kit twice and I find it to be very well designed and engineered. Although I'm not a big fan of lowriders I love watching your videos to learn different techniques and products that you have discovered. Quite a learning experience no matter what the subject matter is. As usual, another superb build and review, Chris. Rock on Brother!
I made my own scriber tool from an old hacksaw blade on a bench grinder. It holds a very sharp edge with occasional honing on a ceramic sharpening rod.
I built the original stock version of this kit when it first came out and still have it on my shelf to this day. It's a lovely model and I'm impressed with the features on this variant. Thinking I should give this one a go, and again, I like your color choice on this because it really stands out.
Chris, I love your videos and unboxing of kits. I'm not a very good computer person, no Facebook, etc. I'm trying to get back into the hobby after a 20 year "break" . I'm really trying to find a 70 71 ranchero and a 68 69 Torino/ Fairlane 4 door model body/ interior. You have a great following and connections in the model world. Any suggestions ? Again, keep the videos coming and definitely " Build it your way"
I might think about doing this model but maybe use the OG colors from Cheech's Love Machine on the outside. It probably would have been perfect for another movie that they didn't do!
Beautiful work, awesome
I hate to break the news to you but, you sir ARE an advanced modeler. Awesome build as always.
Very nice build. Nice use of color on the model. Those stripes are really neat. A nice looking kit. Thanks for sharing.

Always liked that era monte, not really into lowriders but could make a nice mild custom needing some love. May have to buy if it comes to Australia.
Must add to stash!

It’s a jaw dropper! Really nice build.

So happy they reprint this one!! I hot the green one last year will get this one for sure
All you need it is the song low rider to play your building lowrider model.
I hear a WAR tune playing in my head...
Nice build
Love ❤️..... 👍 😃 👍
When do you use the Clear Gel Tacky Glue vs. Mod Podge?
I can see maxing the suspension up and installing off road tires. Hog out the fenders to make a Baja racer Monte Carlo. Yeah, I'm weird.
First moderate washboard and it'll be Monte Carlo Munch lol
Great build love the pink panther
Love the videos!❤
That looks like a fun kit . Might look cool metallic gold with those green decal flames .. 😊
👍👍
What is that thin glue you brush on?
Very nice review.
Chris uses Plastruct Bondene for plastic to plastic bonding.
Nice👍
I am looking for a 1974 Monte Carlo Landau model kit. NOT the NASCAR model.
