Woodturning a bird?

In this video we turned a bird from Oak, Yew & what may or may not have been Mahogany.. The yew was turned off so it didn't end up in the finished piece, little bit of a miscalculation but it was the first time I had made something like this so there was a good chance of something not going right.

Hi Ian, That has to be one of the most different pieces of turning I have seen. It is brilliant. Great glue up to end up with the relevant pieces in the correct places. I love the head and beak of the bird especially. Great work Ian. Cheers, Huw

Really nice piece Ian, thanks for sharing, Ive now subscribed! Newbie here at the wood turning and so far limited to egg cups, rolling pins and recently a couple of vases and (small) bowls.
